BSPN Dallas - they just said Cromartie has interest in Dallas and thinks he may be the missing piece and can help bring a championship to Dallas.

If Revis goes back to the Jets - Cro should be the first player we sign .

Despite his age he's still 10xs better than what we currently have: a collection of stiffs.

Ah why. Where would he play. Releasing Carr will not save any money. How is Cromartie any better than Carr. Cromartie was #2 right side CB in New York and same in Arizona. He's a 3-4 man.defense guy never played in a 43 zone.

I don t see the value in signing Cromartie for 6 to 8 a year and cutting carr for no cap relief. I do t see how we got any better.

Yea, I just saw that... if he would give us a discount I say we might want to go for it and just cut Carr.

Cutting carr would not save us any money. Even if its a June 1st cut we don't get the savings until june. The we would have the hit next year plus add the Cromartie hit.

How is Cromartie any better than carr. Where has he ever been the #1 guy? He's played across from Revis and Peterson.

Cromartie will be 31 in april
Carr is 29 in May

Maybe at 3 or 4 a year and keep carr. ThenOut our 3 would be Scandrick Cromartie and carr but I would rather get a pay cut on Carr and draft a good CB to replace Carr next year or 2.

We have to draft a CB regardless this year as both Carr and Claiborne could/should be gone after 2015.

I think he goes w Bowles to jets but I wouldn't be opposed to having him. Thing is what are we going to pay him ?

They get 8M of cap space if Carr is a June 1st cut.

Right but not until june 1st. And we get a 8 million cap hit next year. Then you would have to add Cromartie cap hits to this year and next. It's cheaper to keep carr. Cromartie isn't that much better if any

How much dead money in 2016?
Any unrealized prorated money will hit the cap with or without him on the roster. It is called dead money if the player is cut.

Stays:
Base salary + prorated.

Cut:
dead money

dead money = prorated (exact same total amount)
