Rumor has it the Titans are open to trading him. He's banged-up currently; has spent significant time injured these past couple seasons, and there may be some character flags there [i'm not sure of that] (hence the term 'look into')... but he's in the final year of his rookie contract. And I've seen Britt be absolutely dominant in Randy Moss fashion for brief spurts. That was with a lack of talent at the QB position in Ten. Maybe he's one of those guys that would resurge simply from new surroundings. It's the kind of move the Patriots successfully make all the time, and we could certainly use the WR depth. Wouldn't hurt to check it out.

Banged up "currently"?????? - the guy has been banged up for the past 3 years. He's also quit on his team. A big "no thanks" here.

How about letting Harris, Beasley and Williams have a chance rather than signing problem receivers?

yeah, those games where he was dynamic don't supersede all of the negative aspects of his game....no thank you...I don't see him helping the team as a whole

Not that we can afford him, but I'd MUCH rather deal for Josh Gordon as Cleveland has been rumored to have been shopping him around. Just wishful thinking on my part.

Well, we had the go get Josh Freeman thread so I guess we might as well have the get Britt thread.

I can't wait until the go get QB Sanchez thread. I'm sure someone out there wants Sanchez. :)

'Gordon is in the NFL's program, having already served a two-game suspension this season after testing positive for codeine. He is one strike away from a season-long ban.'

I wouldn't, we have receiver depth. If Miles isn't part of the team next year, we need to draft another outside receiver incase Dez/TWill go down, but it shouldn't be a premium pick, or an expensive player.

We definitely need to burn important draft picks on other teams malcontents.

We haven't had a good locker room problem in a while.

Calvin Watkins and Clarence hill have their hopes up it happens.

OP, please read over the first part of your post and ask yourself how many red flags are there.

Similar things were true of Randy Moss before he became a Patriot; Brandon Marshall before becoming a Bear; Plaxico Burress becoming a Giant- except the cheap pricetag...
And none of them played opposite a talent like Dez Bryant.
