Are we gonna propose trading for every player on the trade block in the league?

Well, we had the go get Josh Freeman thread so I guess we might as well have the get Britt thread.

I can't wait until the go get QB Sanchez thread. I'm sure someone out there wants Sanchez. :)

Don't forget the Alex Smith > Tony Romo.

I'd prefer Josh Gordon, although I'd trade a 2nd for Britt or Gordon. Unfortunately it seems as though Miles' will forever be hindered by his hamstrings... When he is on his connection and chemistry with Romo is elite but him being healthy has become a rare occurrence..

Honestly if we trade for a WR it has to be Gordon. He wants it, he's hungry. He is Dez-like on and off the field and we've worked wonders with Dez. If we get both playing up to potential Bryant/Gordon with a speed guy as #3 WR we'd have a Madden-like passing game.

Similar things were true of Randy Moss before he became a Patriot; Brandon Marshall before becoming a Bear; Plaxico Burress becoming a Giant- except the cheap pricetag...
And none of them played opposite a talent like Dez Bryant.

yea, but.....didn't Burress end up in jail as a Giant..........and begin his career with a "class" organization like Pittsburgh?

I wouldn't give up a 2nd for Britt. Not at all- too risky. Rumor is the Titans may be willing to take what they can get as they're likely parting ways at season's end, anyhow.

No thanks. We can win without giving up draft picks for morons. If we traded for Gordon or Britt i'd lose my lunch.

Yes, yes!

We could get rid of Miles, who always seems to be dinged up, and bring in a guy who is the very picture of durability.

Not only that, but apparently, he is well liked in the locker room, is a dream to coach, and is exactly the type of player that Garrett has worked so hard to bring in to Dallas.

I haven't really looked at the ins-and-outs of making a trade, but on first blush this looks to be just a terrific idea. What's not to love about it?

Would trade for Gordon. Would kick the tires on Britt as a free agent next year when he is released.

You have to give Williams a legitimate chance to succeed before adding another guy like Britt(or even Gordon) to this team. He was drafted to be a very good #2 WR so let's give him 1-2 seasons to prove himself. By year 3 we will have a good idea of what to expect going forward.

I'd rather give Benford a try as a back up to Harris and Williams than deal with druggies like Gordon.

Gordon is just a flat out better talent. If he wasn't a knucklehead he goes high in the draft.

Just like Dez.

These are young kids. Bring him in. Give him the Dez rules. Hell...let him hang out with Dez.

Moderate Risk...incredible upside.

Not that we can afford him, but I'd MUCH rather deal for Josh Gordon as Cleveland has been rumored to have been shopping him around. Just wishful thinking on my part.

Count me in as another wishful thinker when it comes to Josh Gordon.

Randy Moss was already "Randy Moss" before he was a Patriot. I wouldn't compare Britt to any of these players and if we were to even try and pull off a trade we can use it in other areas.
