Just released today from the Jets to make room from Ty Law.

Fastest man in the NFL. He has been in the doghouse there, a fresh start & he could be a solid addition.

Even if Pacman gets banned for the whole season next week i don't think we are in the CB market.

We have two good picks from this years draft and Newman is returning. Unless Newman gets hurt again and Pacman is lost for the year we are set.

And like WoodysGirl said whom do you release ?

I'll pass. I'd rather stick with the guys we have assuming Newman is healthy.

Never seen him play but if he's a solid Punt returner and can play a little ball I wouldn't mind seeing them drop Ball or Jones for him.

But, again, that's without actually seeing him play much so take that for what it's worth.

The bottom 10 on the roster isn't exactly brimming with talent.

Not advocating the move, but it's not like we couldn't live without McQuistan, Berger, Brown, Stanback or any of the other JAGs that we were hoping were quality depth.

He's a top punt returner and a very solid corner, who do you release?
Whatever C.B. is last on our depth chart, that's who.
He'd give us an explosive pnt returner and a solid corner, he's a better C.B. then Henry at this point IMO and CERTAINLY better then anyone who's currently last on our depth chart.

Cutting Johnson or Butler, and giving him a look see might not be such a bad idea.

he was rated pretty high coming out of clemson, but I guess didn't show much as a corner

Unless he is a 350 lb Nose Tackle, he won't help this defense stop the run.

can't hurt, he's a pretty talented player, hasn't done much in his career, although he's returned 3 kicks for TDs

Has Quincy Butler been on the active roster for 6 weeks? (no)

Because if he hasnt we can not cut him per league rules

At this point, I think the team would be better off looking for another safety than adding another bottom-feeder cornerback.

Looks like Miller hasn't returned a punt in three years.

Why did the Jets get rid of him?

Oh, and Justin Miller the fastest man in the league... :lmao:

I don't see it happening. Too much money tied up in DBs right now.
