Yeah..
..there isn't any happiness around these parts.
Everybody is a bum until everybody jumps on the bandwagon..
and then everybody says they knew they were a player..
and then everybody wants to sign them to a long term deal.
Whatever.
I just want this team to continue what they are doing.
We may need to lose a little more this year to get a better draft position next year when we should again be able to stockpile some positions.
Its a process.
I see this team as about where it was before the Jimster put the 90's teams on the right track.
We'll see.

Some fans are excited. Perhaps intrigued and hopeful are better words.

No one will convince someone on the other side to switch allegiance. This thread will die out. We will sign someone else. And repeat the process.
That being said, I'm in the intrigued and hopeful camp. It's just how I choose to handle my fandom.

this is OTA's and the team you love is making moves,weighing and analyzing the talent
we are hopeful and excited that each player can come in and help turn around our failures.

Lol, my life doesnt revolve around this team or any other team . . You can pound your chest as hard as you'd like, but your outlook on this team vs my outlook has no bearing on your life or mine. .. If you ask me, you seem like the guy at the ticket line trying to hit the jackpot of the mega millions rather than creating your own luck. . . So, it works both ways, pal... You aren't too but the jackpot and neither is this franchise

The life comment I don't know but suspect carries over into life. Just a thought.
It might be a view on life,I don't know really.
I know people that take the dim view about every thing they perceive.
I know I take a give the benefit of the doubt point of view.

I find hopefulness to be more fun if you don't and want to call it
being practical, or something in that order, that's OK too.

They pretty clearly are doing things differently in Dallas these days. Giving young guys reps, churning the roster significantly. Cutting vets. Taking hits like the Carr contract this season to position themselves down the road. The signing of Bush might not be a harbinger of anything, but it's pretty clear there's been a shift philosophically.
