I saw him play quite a bit as well, even though I live in the Austin area. He's not an every down player, to be sure. He's extremely quick to get to the ball, and seems to live in the backfield on pass plays. His size is the biggest question mark, and he overcame a lot of that at Tech with solid technique. He's not big enough to play either DE spot, although he's closer to a weakside DE than anything else. Size-wize, he's more of a build for a OLB in a 3-4, but he never had to cover at Tech.
Kind of a man without a position when it comes to an NFL 4-3.
You are describing Michael Sam it seems. We need all the pass rushers we can get. Anything to pressure the QB is welcomed in Dallas.
