Cowboys signed RB Gus Johnson to the practice squad.

Johnson is not flashy, but he is a solid back who could get the job done in a pinch. He will be a name to remember if the Cowboys' backfield runs into injury trouble this season.

I really like this. Kid showed he could play at this level. I would have kept him over Dunbar on the 53 so really happy he is still with the team.

Being in the practice squad will help him, I feel like he will end up going up incase of an injury but to spend the year on the team and next offseason will do wonders to his development coming out of a D2 school.

Good to hear. Will be needed when McFadden pulls another hammy, or groin, or insert injury here......

I'm ok with this, but with Michael on the roster now, do we need him on the PS. It certainly doesn't hurt though.

Would have rather took a look at Joey Iosefa. Hope Cowboys are looking at what is out there and not just picking up their own dregs.
