It is not exactly a bottom of the roster change when you bring back a personality that made a stink after he left town.

This just tells me the front office really just does not have a clue how to handle the talent, much less evaluate their talent to begin with.

He was part of the problem AND he did not buy into the program.

Three words . . . desperation, frustration and regurgitation.

A bottom of the roster change should not be this dramatic. But yet, it is.

It’s bad business to take things personally and hold grudges, and Butler would be far from the first player who has vocalized dissatisfaction with a team he plays on. Hell, a lot of people still want Dez back, and he hasn’t exactly been complimentary since being cut. I know he’s a better player, but the same principle applies. And, of course, a disgruntled guy at the top of the depth chart would be much more disruptive than one further down the depth chart.

My guess is Butler is a bit more humble now that he is unemployed.
