This indecision on the part of the Cowboys' brass is beyond annoying. It's not rocket science. They should just pick a safe date and stick with it. Smart teams err on the side of caution -- not this one. They're stubbornly insistent upon picking the earliest possible date, damn the torpedoes.

Where have the Cowboys even said that this is an option?

They may have said it but I've missed it.

Nope, Im just a common fan that can see the obvious. Your the guy running around acting like he is a doctor. LOL

You still face the same reality today as you did yesterday. Only today the reports settled our argument yesterday.

Nothing new has come out. You're reading into something that's not there.

I didn't claim I was a doctor, but I did use the opinions of doctors and available medical information to support my position.

You're just making claims that you can't support.

You can say that Tony has been hurt a lot as a fact (though "a lot" is technically subjective). But that is not what you have done. You have stated he is brittle, but you have no data to support this. You don't have bone density tests or medical opinion, you're just throwing out wild supposition. Supposition that ignores the fact that unless there is some kind of condition with Tony, which we would very likely know about if there were, that at his age, his bones would not be substantially weaker than when he was younger.

I am very consistent. Romo is old, brittle, and injury prone. He is on the last leg of his career. And now that we have DAK that is going to be even shorter.

Yesterday you argued that it would be 3 games or less. You thought I was crazy saying 6-10 minimum. Today they came out with more like 8-10 and the possibility of putting him the short term IR. Nothing more needs to be said.

I never argued that it WOULD be 3 games or less. I argued that it COULD be based on what doctors have said, and based on the only other example I am currently aware of where the player only missed two games. I thought you were crazy for using the word minimum in conjunction with the 6-10 week timeline. There are plenty of opinions from doctors on the matter, and also the other evidence with Carr to make that seem silly. It may indeed end up being 6-10 weeks, but that does not make it the minimum possibility. Not at all.

You need to reread what came out today in regards to that article and what it was saying. *IF* Romo is placed on IR (Which it does not say is likely or unlikely), then it would be an 8-10 week injury. If he is placed on that IR, then it doesn't matter if he is ready in 4 weeks, the designation automatically makes it an 8-10 week injury.

Not sure what 2nd MRI in 7 days shows differently Likely same 1 week later L1 compression doesn't heal that quickly

Thanks for posting @Mr Cowboy...I was wondering why they needed a 2nd MRI so soon as well.

I think the one week timeline is off. He's likely not going to have it tomorrow. I'm not even sure if he'd have it this weekend. I could see it being later in the week (maybe 2 weeks from injury).

Why would overall matter to this conversation? He is older now and more prone to getting injured as we have seen. He was NOT injury prone early to middle of his career. I would say he definitely is now. However you want to say that so it sounds better for you.

-He is more prone to freak injuries because he is getting a little older
Or
-He is more prone to bad luck these days.

Whatever can get you there mentally.

It's what some fans want to tell themselves to help deal with reality.

Whatever you say pal. He is injured again for the 2nd year in a row. Categorize that how ever you like.

Lucky, injury prone, old, no issue at all..............whatever.

When he can get on the field and stay there, let me know.

Keep in mind, this is the guy who claimed that Seattle game where Romo took this latest hit was "the perfect night" and told everyone they needed to calm down.

So, for you, 3 injuries in 3 years means he's done, old, brittle and injury prone, however, 3 injuries in 4 years means he was NOT injury prone?
