Just going back to Witten, if I had to say, I can see Superman. He has that boy scout image, but is tough when it matters. Iron man is just too flashy for Witten.

I think Tony Dorsett or Bob Hayes should be the Flash.

I think Romo qualifies as Spiderman because of his escapability and the fact that he is, at the same time, loved and hated/mistrusted.

Tom Landry would probably closest resemble Professor X, always thinking ahead of the curve.

Jerry Jones would be (I know he is not a superhero, but it just fits too well to pass up) The Puppetmaster. Behind the scenes pulling the strings.

Troy Aikman is Batman, merciless and surgical, which makes

Jason Garrett, Robin, Boy Wonder to Aikman's Batman. Able to fill in if Batman isn't available, but he doesn't get the adulation (or the women that Batman had pining for him.

That's enough for now,
I hope this thread keeps going, something light and fluffy for a change.

Can Randy White be Thing ? :D

Perhaps Irvin as Green Lantern would be better. Always into something, but when the time came...he showed up.

Or "Unbreakable".

Just Kidding.

ANd sorry... Randy White is "The Manster".

Silly skins fan.

Here's an obvious one I don't think anyone's mentioned...

Marion Barber = Conan (yes he's a superhero dang it)

or

Moose Johnston = Juggernaut

or

Larry Allen = Hulk (think this one was mentioned)

or

Dexter Coakley = Might Mouse

or

Kenneth Gant = Aquaman (he did do the "Shark Dance")

or

Joey Gallowaste = The Invisible Man

or

Aaron Gibson = The Blob

or

TO = Venom (cuz he was poisonous to the team, get it?)

or

David Buehler = Colossus

Ok that's all I've got for now.

Funny thread. But I seriously only know of a few of the superheroes. Never into that too much. I like movies and books though.

Perhaps some background on the characters in relation to the players is needed.

Rack, Manster was not a super hero. Perhaps you never heard, read, or saw the movie.

The Manster needs no fictitious comparisons. He defined a superhero in his own right and was nicknamed accordingly. Movies and comic books couldn't do justice to the mayhem he caused.
