Cowboys take closer look at UCLA linebacker Eric Kendricks

The Dallas Cowboys took a closer look at UCLA linebacker Eric Kendricks just two weeks after his pro day.

Cowboys linebackers coach Matt Eberflus flew out to California this week to follow up with the standout linebacker. Kendricks told NFL.com that the encounter with Eberflus went "really well," and that the Cowboys are not sure on which linebacker position they'd have him play.

"Nobody really knows where they want to play me at this point. I played a lot of positions in college, so I'm comfortable at a lot of spots, and I think all the teams know that. They're not really honed in yet on what they want me to do physically.

UCLA LB Eric Kendricks had a private workoutwith the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The majority of the UCLA prospect's collegeexperience is at middle LB, but he could also play OLB at the next level. The 6-foot, 230-pound Butkus Award winner was highly productive in 2014, recording 139 tackles for the Bruins. Kendricks lead the team in tackles in both 2012 (150) and 2013 (105). Well if Stephen already announced that Lee is slotted in at the WIL I don't think there is any doubt we are looking for a MLB.

I like Kendricks but I have doubts about any 6' 230 lb player being about to play 16 games at MLB in the NFL.

I wouldnt worry about where he will play just yet,if he is highly rated on our board then we have to take him at 27.
