I was listening to Collin Cowerd(sp?) on ESPN the Herd and it appears to be a lost cause next year for the cowboys due to all of the losses from the coaching staff and front office personnel. The Ireland loss is going to be bigger than one thinks and he reported the Bowles, Soparano, Pasq, and Rogers were coaches that are going to be difficult to replace. He also reported that no team in the history of the NFL had to go through so many changes as the Cowboys had to go through this off season; that it will be difficult to compete next year. He reported that the onoy time that the Cowboys had successful seasons is when they had a coach that stood up to Jerry like Parcells and Jimmy Johnson. It sounded very doom and gloom for the cowboys and their fans. Just FYI.

Only problem with that is we return one heck of a roster with a top 5 most likely top 3 NFL QB.

I like Cowherds show and he raises good points but Dallas is going to be excellent next year as long as Tony Romo holds the sword of Troy.

Cowturd also saw nothing wrong with what Haynesworth did and didn't think he should have been suspended. He's an idiot.

Ive listened to him only a couple of times but he strikes me as a guy that tries to get a reaction rather than someone who really tries to talk serious sports.

I think Jerry should just fold this season because Cowherd said so...

BTW, did this Collin guy know that our coaching philosophy was dictated by Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett, and that these other coaches were trying to fit in with their style????

I wouldn't exactly call our time with Parcells "successful". I doubt anyone from espn even knows who Ciskowski is, let alone realize his influence with our scouting department over the last few years. I doubt losing some ***. coaches and replacing them with our head coach's "guys" is going to have a detrimental effect on our team. I also find it hard to believe its possible to have a "doom and gloom" season when you have 13 returning pro bowlers and two first round draft picks.

Basically, I think all of the above is absolutely ********.

The Ireland loss is huge but it will manifest itself over time not next year.

Not even having Lacewell run this draft would make us suck next year.

The coaching staff losses were rather weak ones. Tony Soprano was probably the biggest loss but we hired a better pure OL coach in Houck. Garrett loses his "running game" coordinator but all those teams wanting to hire him as a head coach seemed to think he'd be fine without Tony Soprano around.

Meadow would be a better head of the family anyways....

Screw Cowherd. He is a left coast pansy.

I will generally always listen to sports talk over anything else, but when he is the only option...I literally cant take him. He is a complete d bag, and really doesnt not what he's talking about.

I think Cowherd would give it up for Parcells if he was asked.

Cowherd also said that there wasn't a chance in hell that the Patriots would lose the Super Bowl. After the game, he never owned up to his own words. That's classic Cowherd for ya.

I also remember when Cowherd called Cowboy fans the most delusional fans in any sport when we had Bledsoe as QB. Said Cowboy fans were expecting the team to be good but in actuality they Cowboys aren't a good team. He went on and on about it. A couple weeks later after Romo took over, he picked the Cowboys to go to the Superbowl......

I can't stand Cowherd. 90% of the time he's talking out of his arse and when he gets proven wrong he just pretends it never happened.

Besides the Chargers lost their head coach and both coordinators last year, I seem to remember them getting pretty close to a Super Bowl.
