The Cowboys 2nd game ever in 1960, a 25-27 loss to the Eagles, and the next to the last game of the 1999 season, a 24-31 loss to the Saints, share something that none of the other 733 games they have played in the regular season share. They are also unique from the 56 post season games the team has played.

Do you know what those 2 games share in common that none of the other 789 games the Cowboys have played can claim?

My guess: Lane was arrested for public intoxication at both of those games.

I know the 1960 game against the Eagles was the beginning of the Cowboys / Eagles rivalry. It was the game that started the Cowboys / Eagles playing twice a year.

Landry didn't wear his hat for both games.

The hat shop that was cleaning it, lost it for two weeks and it couldn't find a hat ugly enough to suit Tom.

No thanks necessary for answering this tough one.

That Saints game was on Christmas, and we got lit up by backup QB Delhomme on that day.
