I know, but it seems to me if you're willing to spend 10k for the right to buy tickets, then it's disposable income. Disposable income that you spent for the guarantee to sit in your prefered seats during every cowboys home game, which is something the non season ticket holder sitting next to you doesn't have. You got what you paid for, so I think complaining about someone that is not a season ticket holder sitting in your section is...petty. What about the guy sitting in front you that bought some other season ticket holders seats for that one game? Are you upset that he didn't pay the 10k too?

Now, if Jerry is selling the tickets at a lesser price than you paid (not including the PSL or whatever it is), and you were trying to sell yours for what you paid (ie, the face value of your ticket at the time of purchase) then that might be reason to complain.

Complaining about having to pay the 10k to be a season ticket holder and sit in the same section with someone that bought tickets the week of the game and is not a season ticket holder is whining IMHO.

The sad fact is that for many of these folks that 10K probably isn't disposable income-- Am I saying that people would spend with their hearts rather than their heads?

Haha - hey, I've got 4 kids and an ex wife so I've gotta be real careful about spending from the heart.

They have the right to keep those seats every year, the people without the psl's don't. So no need to get that upset.

Only to those subscribers in the DWF area of NFL ticket. Everyone else outside that area would still see the game on NFL ticket.

This whole NFL blackout rule is stupid.

JJ gets 100k to the game and still has to abide by the blackout rule?

Someone punch Roger in the face for me, please?

Can't see how poor people can afford to fork over $495 for the tickets ?

It sounds like to me that the Cowboy fans in the DFW area could end up getting a big screwing with having to fill a 100K stadium for every home game in order to lift the black-out.

No question that it will.

The decision to build the new stadium wasn't really in the best interest of the fans of the Dallas Cowboys in the DFW area-- not that building any new stadium is really. :laugh1:

help me out. I am completely confused by this.

What is bad about it again?

and they only need to sell 82,000. The party pass has nothing to do with it, or I should say totaly capacity has nothing to do with it, just that all the seating is sold.

I have to tell you, as long as the jones family owns this team I dont see this team not having a sell out.

thats jerry's bread and butter.

But the stadium certainly is not only a good thing but a great thing for the fans here.

I guess I'm remembering wrong data but I could have sworn sell out was not 100% for terms of blackout.

The game will not be blacked out in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

If you think Jerry will let that happen, you're nuts! He knows exposure, and if he has to fork over some pittley cash to give tickets away, he will. ;) He gains more than he would give away just to sell the Cowboys to that area.

No blackout, and no soup for youz!

Exactly. The PSL gives you the right to purchase those tickets for 30 years. If someone bought a PSL thinking otherwise, it's their own fault.

I believe it is 100% of non-premium seats, or non-club seats or something like that. The Skins never sell all of their club seats but aren't blacked out.

Um, what's gonna happen if (in the future) the team reverts to the dismal 5-11 days? Could be blackout city.

There's going to be a lot of pissed people in Texas.

Todd Archer confirmed this afternoon that it already is a sell out and that jerry told him there is no chance of a blackout.

No way the opening night would not be a sell out. It's not going to be blacked out. Jerry would not let it happen.
