I love this but it made me realize there is no chance Ware comes back here. That chapter is over.

Originally I thought that Denver cuts him going into the 3rd year of his contract, and he comes back here for limited money. Not sure how that would work.

Gonna depend on if we resign Hardy more than anything

Gregory has some pretty sick inside moves. Great hand work and quick transition inside.

Honesty, the guy has some of the best handwork I have seen in a college prospect. I was shocked at how good he is with his hands....Arguably already better than Ware ever had imo....

If you just realized this remind me to not read any more of your posts :D

I don't think Ware is too old to come back. A lot of players end up doing just that. I don't expect him to retire next year, and in a limited role, I think he could be useful here in a rotation at the right price.

That's true. I think Gregory does pretty much play with an edge.

Still, if Haley can impart just a smidge of his insatiable taste for QB blood... it sure couldn't hurt.

He knows how to do the rib shot that breaks QB ribs. He knows how to decleat and fall fullbody on someone's torso/head in the take down and he does it to both ball carriers and guys trying to block him. He goes after the little guy on returns and tries to smear them on the field. He shows no mercy to smaller players at all. He gets OL to take obvious cheap shots in retaliation. I'm sure that Haley has some tricks up his sleeve though.

Yeah, no thanks. As beloved as Ware WAS, time to move on. Let's stay young and hungry with players with a killer instinct, not old with the instinct of a 60's Flower Child mentality... Peace and love maaan.

I just put on some Jefferson Airplane, I hear Grace Slick right now. :lmao:

Learning from one of the Best!

Hey seeing that picture reminds me that a day or 2 ago I saw a Cowboys game on the NFL network and Jay made some big time plays. I think Jay was the best receiving tight end the Cowboys ever had.

I absolutely love how so many ex players are still involved with the organization today.

It may be because I don't pay attention, but I don't think there are many other organizations that have ex players there at training camp, hanging out around the new generation players, etc.

Just amazing and truly speaks to how special this franchise is.

Not any if all Ex Skins vets and greats come back to help them....hummmm wonder why....

@DallasEast

I would probably say that New Orleans game. 2 sacks 2 forced fumbles.

If I remember correctly, that game was the week after getting carted off the field with a neck injury. And he put those stats up in a limited amount of snaps.

It makes you wonder how effective he truly would've been if he had a backup talented enough to spell him more often.

That's one thing I like about our current defensive end rotation. I see us as most likely having four capable at worst players there which will keep them more fresh.

Yeah, that rib shot he put on that WR that they always show in highlights was painful... it had to be.

Note that I was one of the first advocates for releasing him on this board, but to whether DeMarcus Ware is done, his 10 sacks last year clearly show that he is not.

Ware's train pulled out when he refused to re-negotiate.

Sorry.

When Jerrah over pays you and your numbers take a nose-dive..

Jerrah never forgets, brother.

Ask TO, MBIII, Julio and Felix Jones and..

Miles Austin.

Just to name a few.
