Yep, Coop is that good. The entire league thought he was great coming out of the Alabama football factory. Cooper needed a Star on his Helmet for everyone to notice. The Dallas Cowboys will get Cooper a ring, mark it down. I hope the Saints stack the box Thursday.
Would love to see them all get a ring.

But Cooper was very well known...the guy has already went to the Pro Bowl twice in his 3 seasons prior to this one.

I don't see how it could not bring down his asking price. Has he even played in a game this year? All year he's had suspensions or "personal issues" that have kept him off the field. At this point it's almost a waste of a roster spot.

It will bring down his asking price -- of that, we can be sure. A player doesn't really expose himself to being inadequate in terms of reliability without it being noticed by those paying the bill. Irving has demonstrated indications of being significantly less than reliable during his stay with the Cowboys. It's a good bet that they'll make sure to adjust his salary accordingly. Rest assured that Stephen will see to that -- it's his "special purpose." :D

Players and contracts are about risk and reward. Always be objective, never let your personal opinion influence that.

Yep, Irving is frustrating. However, if he can get some of the kid situation handled, and he's willing to sign cheap, it's still smart to do it. There really isn't that much risk outside of the roster spot, and there's a ton of reward. It's a very +EV move, ie. it has great pot odds.

No OTAs. No training camp. No preseason games. Been here barely a month. Already on par with AB84. :omg:

He is worth a 1st. His play is paying dividends for Zeke too.

he is more valuable then Joey Galloway was so the conversation isnt is he worth a first but is he worth two firsts

so in 11 games the Saints opponents have rushed 125 times on 1st down that is 11 times per game.
Dallas opponents have rushed 150 times on 1st down which is about 14 times a game. It would be interesting to see how my opponent rushing attempts each team has faced...

upon further review

Dallas has faced 279 total rush attempts for 1030 at 3.7 yard avg and 7 TDs and have given up 64 rushing 1st downs. about 25 rush attempts against them per game.

Saints has faced 244 rush attempts for 805 yards at 3.6 avg and 10 TDs and have given up 42 total rushing 1st downs. about 22 rush attempts against them per game

The NFL as a whole avg 282 rushes a team with almost 25 attempts per game.

Seattle with the most attempts 351 (NO is 2nd with 344), and Bengals and Giants tied for last with 221 attempts to date.
