I have mixed feelings on this, but I won't get into it here. But I am not going to hate on Jerry or Robert for how they handle this, and I think it's best they probably don't discuss it. I honestly hope that Robert has an incredible year, but I wonder if this could be a factor in signing a new deal.

I could have guessed this wouldn't have sat well with the front office.
I know some are trying to spin this as a good look - he trained there before, etc. But reality is, I could see Jerry having an issue with this.

Walker kind of seems like an apologist.
Even adding in that part he did, I don't think it changes the overall tone and attitude Jerry is trying to convey which is that they'd like Zeke back but at a price that they are comfortable with that will allow them to keep other players as well. And that it's not the end of the world if somehow Zeke isn't a long term option for the team.
