LVE was completely gassed in that game, big jump from BSU to the NFL. Hopefully a year in the Cowboys training program has him better equipped to handle playing 16+ games.

Dak haters, you do know he was supposed to sit for his first 3 seasons and learn, right? Well he didn't get that luxury, we'll see how he does with a full season of Frederick, Martin, Cooper, Gallup and hopefully Cobb.

nobody is acting outside their rights in the contract....teams are allowed to cut players if they aren't performing....players are allowed to hold out (and get fined if the team wishes) if they feel they deserve more money. all within the CBA. if players wanted to not be cut, then negotiate a fully guaranteed contract (it'd come at a discount).

So Jerry nor any other GM needs to mention any player "honoring" a contract. Well within a player's rights to holdout should they so choose.

This is flawed thinking, if true

He's already missed 6 games (suspension). Historically speaking, 3 more games missed can negatively impact his all-time stats.
