Well, Jerry, if this guy is one of those "best friends in the world,"
then you've got horrid taste in friends. He doesn't care about the Cowboys, you, or which team he plays on, as long as he gets paid #1 money to stroke his immature and fragile ego even though he's under contract to show up at work.

So Jerry nor any other GM needs to mention any player "honoring" a contract. Well within a player's rights to holdout should they so choose.

imo per the cba yes. but then the players shouldn't be upset when they have fines levied upon them.

edit: no one is playing outside of the cba's governing rules....it's all business
