Cowboys vs 49ers last play, worst play in Dallas history!

Hopefully the video shows

Ironically the guy who designed and called that play who most didn't want to stay here who now thought maybe bringing him back got a ring with the Eagles It now has his own team isn't that something you just need to call and design a crazy play and you can make your bones in the NFL...

We have to live with all these moments in the playoffs maybe I don't watch enough other teams to notice their moments but we always seem to have national news moments like that play or the referee to somehow being lazy and not getting the ball set in the other end to the 49er game I mean I watched a lot of plays since and seems like the referees if they know the one that's way behind the play can't get there they run up from another spot closer to the ball set the ball and make sure the team gets the ball off didn't happen with us though..

I mean the bad spot with the Witten play against Seattle that now only people remember the fumble snap and hold by Romo on the field goal attempt but beat the play before that was controversial I still say it should have been first and goal..

Then we have the Dez Bryant catch no catch I mean come on I mean there's more as well always seems to be some controversy connected with the Cowboys...

But the one common thing is lots of disappointment even all the way back to the 1981 game against the 49ers now known famously as The Catch Montana to Clark Yep that was my first game ever watched as a cowboy another last play of the game broken hearted playoff loss..

Yesiree, in the 106 year history of the NFL, that's the worst pass ever.
I guess.
Do we need to do that there was going to be no time to throw and nobody open because Ezekiel Elliott got trucked ran over and they had to get rid of the ball but go ahead blame the QB not the designer or the execution by the rest of the team That would be Keller Moore got rewarded with a ring with the Eagles and he gets his own team by being bad at least in that moment..

I remember the play. I thought the formation was weird. Zeke was the center, making him an ineligible receiver. On the snap, Zeke got trucked by a pass rusher and Dak threw a quick pass to Turpin who was smothered by another Niner. It looked like a play Jerry designed on a napkin at Hooters.
I think it was supposed to be a hook and ladder or whatever you call that play they were supposed to be able to get it off and have a little more time there was no time to throw there was no time to actually get the ball from the first target to the second but yes it was a odd play call but sometimes when you're desperate that's what happens I mean I'm watching these playoffs They're a bunch of bad plays a lot of turnovers a lot of miss throws I mean it happens I think we over state What's going on with the Cowboys 'cause we watch it so closely..

I mean look at the play by Caleb Williams or whatever for the Bears he's a hero to get him the overtime by hugging a ball to the corner which he wasn't throwing it to anyone he just put it up and it got caught and then he ends the game with a bad throw and then an interception in in overtime I mean he picked a bad moment to have his worst plays,

it happens...

Dumbest play design ever. Zeke at Center and those gaps on each side of him. There was no time for the defense to even have to react to anyone going down the field, no time for Turpin to threaten. I'm sure the idea was to get the ball in the hands of your all pro returner and hope he can take a "punt return" look to the house, but it all happened way too fast.

Exactly, the stupidity of it started at the snap, Zeke gave a NO eating chance for pass blocking lol. His job as a RB is to block LB's, he looked like he never did it in his life!!

This was the year the previous week we bounced Tom Brady out of the playoffs and into retirement. Baffling play call, embarrassingly stupid

It's a bad play in our history for sure, but the Butt Fumble is the worst play ever.

There should be a limit on how many threads you can start.
I would put a stop to it, but Coog blackmailed me.

He kidnapped my pet and is holding him hostage. His demand was, "Don't stop me! Or I'll start a caffeine IV drip on your cat!"

That's a serious threat coming from someone with a bad coffee habit. :(

That play would have been needed if Diggs didn’t make a business decision and hit Kittle to cause an incompletion. Or possibly even a deflection for a pick.

sucks because I was only talking about the Cowboys history, we know you've been alive all 106 years and watched all games to know this!!!!
I think they are defending Dak on that play. You said worst play and he replied defending the pass.

Worst play in Dallas history is Steve Pelluer late attempt at a slide vs the Bears.

I thought he died that day.

Romos botched snap was a way worse play than this ever thought of being

There will be plays mentioned. Some more famous than others. There is one play every fan (at the time) may not remember, but has stuck with me for years.

It happened when Roy E. Williams played. The Saints stripped him of the ball after a nice catch-and-run. Great defensive play for sure, but it is really rare for a defensive player to catch up with a receiver and strip the ball from BEHIND the receiver. Not falling to the ground fighting for the ball. Not punched out. Not facing the defensive player either. Just... snatched out of his grip, like he was pickpocketed, lol. smh.
