Cowboys vs. Bengals Predictions

In all actuality, don't get me wrong, of course - I am worried about this game. More-so than the previous 4. But, opposed to all opposition across the media and fan nation, I do think we will come out with the win.

As obsolete of a defense as we were predicted to have before the season, I think we hold up to the point where this will become a defensive battle.

If we can get pressure on Dalton, and Claiborne and/or Carr can hold their own against Green, I don't see Bernard or Hill having the type of game that will make the difference against us that will dictate a win.

As long as we can run the ball as we have, hold Cinci's passing game to check downs and 10-, we will win by a slight margin - Albeit, depending on ball control and turnovers that I do think Dak might have his first in this game.

I see 27-21 Cowboys, with, once again, a late fourth quarter thriller.

What do you think?

Ill have my picks in tomorrow before the game, but i will say if the Cowboys go down 14-0, they probably wont recover this time.

I have been trying to stay away from predictions. But I have no thoughts on this one yet. Other than it will be a close hard fought game. With the team making the least mistakes winning. But that is pretty much a given for any games, as in making the least mistakes.

Against the Bengals, of course. 49'ers are a different story.

True. I do think Dak will have a turnover this game, but, if it's more than 1, I think we will have a hard time pulling it out at the end of the game.

That is, where we would need Romo - I really haven't seen Dak lead a 2 minute drill back at the end of the game for a win, but, if that happens, then I will be all the more convinced than I already am that he truly is the future of this franchise.

The only thing that is going to make mad tomorrow is the way cbs filters out crowd noise..

I feel like the crowd is going to be quite raucous tomorrow.

I would rather have that than Buck call this game...even trade off.

Off topic...I just watched the Volunteers at Aggies game and i would rather hear Buck over Danielson ..He is and always will be a total moron.

42-24 Cowboys

The Bengals can't stop Zeke, Dak, and the Cowboy offensive line, they are on a roll.

And dont look now, but Cowboy defense #10 in PA. New heroes, Collins, Brown, and Jones combine with Mo, Crawford, and Lee to bring gradual improvement.

Cowboys 31 Bengals 17

I don't usually make predictions, but I'm so tired of hearing about the big bad Bengals that I'll chime in.

Dallas 35
Cincy 19

Everybody keeps saying we haven't played anybody while simultaneously picking us to lose every game. Every opponent is some juggernaut until we beat them. Then they become a bad team. Cincy falls under that same category. We remain on a roll.

The Bengals aren't a bad team, but they're really overrated right now. There's nothing special about their offense outside of AJ Green. They can't run the football, they're nearly dead last in rushing efficiency and they're 25th in the league in scoring with less than 20 per game. They can get yards and are pretty careful with the football, but that's about it.

Their defense is a little better than league average for the most part. They're top 10 in yards given up, but league average in points given up. Chicago, San Fran, an NYG all have allowed less YPA on defense, and they're actually below average in opponent QB rating. On top of allowing almost 4 yards a carry, and allowing almost 21 points a game(and skewed due to the Miami game, who actually is worse than anyone we've played on offense, and definitely in the running for worst in the league) It will be the best pass rush we've faced though and they are physical. Hopefully Tyron can play, if Green is still hobbled and Free is set at LT it could be a long day.

They didn't have Burfict for a few games, so they'll be a little better in that regard, but he's also a hothead who hasn't played an OL like us. Not having Dez, and if Tyron is out, hurts. If Tyron is out I don't think we'll win this game because I think Green is still injured.

They gave up 29 and let the Broncos guy throw for 300 on them, they're also pretty bad at tackling efficiency on the 2nd level, Zeke can do some damage there. If Tyron plays, I think we win this game.

27-20

So if we can't hang with Bengals offense (with their rb's 3.1 ypg), guessing it's loss next week vs GBay.
