***Cowboys vs Commanders post game thread***

So is Romo really getting blamed for this loss in a game where we had 35 rushing yards and a D that let the Skins score every possession?

It's like you're a sunshine robot.

"Wallowing"....does not compute.

I'm a positive person, it's my burden in life. But that last post was a joke because I knew it would go over like a fart in church at this point.

Of course he is and this surprises you?

Yeah? He's going to make Beasley not fall over on his routes or Dez hold onto the football?

He won't throw those picks.

No one is saying Romo lost us the game. But he is a part of the problem, just like our oline, LB'rs and our 50 million dollar CB today.

Romo seems to get a pass a little too much and never gets blamed for anything. He can miss wide open receivers, throw picks etc but if we throws for 400 yards when we are playing from behind and we come within striking distance, people want to annoint him to Saint-Hood.

I'm not sure what a great head coach could do with these guys.

They were very undisciplined under an all-timer in Bill Parcells too.

I don't know about that. Parcells got to the playoffs at 10-6 with Quincy Carter and Troy Hambrick as his offensive "stars." That sounds like good coaching to me.

If my QB had 62 pass attempts, I fire the OC in the lockerroom.

Only a freaking idiot Madden wannabe would call 62 pass plays.

And anybody blaming Romo for this is just trying to advance their agenda, not make any legit analysis of the game.

Interesting read. And I agree with much of it.

However, I really don't see JJ going in a different direction at the HC position after this season. I wish he would. But I don't think he will. I think Garrett gets at least 1 more year.

62 Passes
11 rushes

and those 11 rushes got us 35 yards

Meanwhile the Skins got around 150 yards rushing

that is the real difference in the game

Of course the turnovers hurt

but when you are completely one dimensional on offense, you will not win many games

Even he has to be getting tired of this c--p....

That was one of the great coaching performances of all time with that team.

I just don't think anyone can coach this team effectively with an overbearing, incompetent owner like Jones hovering over you at all times.

We have entered an era akin to the "Senile Al Davis" one for the Raiders.

and I think 3 of those rushes were Romo scrambling actually. Going on memory, he was our 3rd leading rusher this game.

So Romo gets no blame?

Everyone deserves blame but to bag on Romo exclusively when we couldnt run the ball to save our lives and the defense gave up 35 just doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me.

But please, point out how bad Romo was.

Just like Aikman said, Romo is asked to do way too much.

Players need to step up. A perfect opportunity for JG to change the culture this year would have been to cut someone like Ogletree after he blew so many routes and made Romo look bad all year.

But we know that wont happen, so we must continue to watch him have to be the general trying to assemble an army of aborigines, when he doesn't speak click.
