Just finished comparing the Cowboys schedule to that of the team I hate most.
1) As you know the only difference in teams played is our single NFC South and NFC North opponent.
Eagles play Chicago away week 4 and Atlanta home week 8.
We play G.B. away week 3 and T.B. home week 8.
I'm not too happy as an eagle fan. Not much if any advantage over the first place team's draw. I see the eagles chances of picking up a game on us here as slim and none. Not sure there's one legit QB between these four teams. The only L I can see here is in Chicago.
2) NFC West opponents.
Cowboys get Arizona and St Louis away and S.F. and Seattle home.
Eagles get S.F. and Seattle away and St Louis and Arizona home.
Again I have to give Cowboys the advantage. We get to play Seattle, the only legit playoff team at home. Local for the other 3 games means little.
3) AFC North Opponents.
Dallas plays Pit and Cleveland away and Bal and Cin home.
Eagles play Pit and Cleveland home and Bal and Cin away.
Eagles get the obvious advantage here.
Overall, I'd call it a push.
