We are a perfect example in 'winning in the trenches' only goes so far.

Moore has a nice throwing motion, but he doesn't have much zip on the ball and can't manipulate the safeties. And he's galaxies better than Cassel.

McFadden isn't the issue here. We should have a moratorium on posts about it. He's not awesome, but he's fine.

I wonder who Beasley will start a Twitter war with this week since he again played poorly and won't acknowledge it.

I have a loathing for Church and Wilcox that is probably only second to ISIS at this point. Wilcox looks like Tony Dixon now. Great job, Henderson...you've made a safety that played 1 year in college look better as a rookie than he is now. Let's keep Henderson away from Byron Jones and any future DB's.

Crawford would be an incredible player if he could tackle. Yup, stud DT whose weakness is...he can't tackle. Only in Dallas.

I would like to be outraged by those horrendous calls by the refs, but I would have to care about the team in order to be outraged. But, if this happened to the Steelers the NFL would probably shut down.

But I read on this very board that if we shore up the lines and win in the trenches everything would be Rosie... I mean one poster I'll leave his name out but he's a likes collector was always complaining about the lines... Hmmm t

The Cowboys would be in playoff contention if the following three things occurred: 1) the defense didn't blow the games vs. the Saints and Falcons; 2) instead of bringing in Cassel, the Cowboys add a deep-threat WR; 3) Brandon Weeden, whose only bad game was against the Patriots, remained the starter

Whoever came up with the idea of bringing in Matt Cassel should be fired on the spot!

Sorry but Weeden was not very good either. He may not have thrown as many interceptions but it was because he almost immediately threw to the check off receiver. He rarely looked downfield.

Weeden was not great, but he didn't have Dez Bryant to throw to. The Cowboys offense is totally different with Dez in the lineup; his presence alone makes a positive difference.

Feeling pretty good about not wasting any more of my time than necessary tonight - turned off the set on the first pick of Cassel's replacement.

Now that we are officially in the high draft pick derby, do we keep the new guy in and lose out, but at least see if there is some growth potential? And what do we use the pick for....a top QB if available? Trade it for someone who could actually step in for Romo?

Like I said last spring...the worst move we could have made was trading away DeMarco...not necessarily for his running, but rather him rarely making a mistake protecting the QB. I predicted then that Romo would get hurt in the 1st Eagles game by a blitz up the middle when we got rid of him and look what happened - a totally lost season, with Romo's window of opportunity rapidly closing (and perhaps closed if his bones shatter every time he is driven to the ground)..

Wow still trying to pimp your hero WeDone. What should've happened is Moore was the starter after Romo went down. Whoever thought WeDone was a good QB and could win games should be fired. When you're 0-12 in your last 12 starts you are terrible.

ESPN says Fitz was 10/10 in the 4th on non-blitz plays. Says a lot about our secondary.

Carr, Mitchell and Jones..... Not at all surprising. overall the d played very well. Situationally they were terrible if that makes sense

As quick as he dumped off the ball, it wouldn't have made a difference who was playing receiver.

What happened against az last year? He had Dez and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn...

What is your relation to WeDone? Dude is one of the worst draft picks in recent years. Did you buy a WeDone jersey when Dallas signed him? This is more confusing than Floatys love of Moore. At least that dude wasn't afraid to take chances

You and me both brother. I have been exasperated by the safety play since Woody left. That Jerry keeps throwing cheap projects at the position for YEARS is beyond aggravating.

It's almost like if Church makes ONE tackle, he's guaranteed his spot.

I would be willing to bet on the big play over Jones....Wilcox screwed up.
