But see I think that thought process is what costed us this season. We didn't really address the RB position. Really I think we got lucky that DMC has been decent this year. But I think we really need to consider getting the back that can be here with the line for years. Zeke or Henry would be great backs behind this line. I'd much prefer Zeke though

I just don't value the RB position enough. And I think we've seen this year, McFadden has had several 100 yard games and it hasn't made a difference. I'd take a QB, DB, and maybe even a WR over a RB in round 1. I like several runningbacks this year that will be available in the middle rounds. I think guys like Henry will be there in the 2nd and later rounds.

We are now 1-9 in games not started by Romo and only thanks to Desean Jackson keeping it from being 0-10

I seriously don't know how you keep a coaching staff after that

Teams that WANT to be great don't. Jason is the only coach I know that goes to other sporting events with his players. Show's up at events with his player's and acts like he's just "one of the guys" NFL coaches don't do that. They keep a distance from their players. He wants to be everyone's friend. That's why Witten and Romo talk so highly of him. He's their buddy.

I'm still not sold on Jones....I guess I'm alone on this on CZ.

No you're not. Where's the playmaking ability? No turnovers, whiffed tackles and blown coverages. Manages to bat down a ball or two and we anoint him a great pick.

Lol Vince hasn't "hit any notes" since '91 lmao.
It's still nice to see them for nostalgia purposes haha :muttley: Seeing their last show ever is worth it if you're a Crue fan

I'll go just for that reason. I had Kimmell passes for there aftershow concert last year after the announcement, it was pretty bad, rest of the band sounded good. Still better than a vocal track though.

I saw him with Steel Panther in 2012 and he was great for one song (Live wire)

Watching the replay. Just noticed that on Moore's 1st INT, he took two shots to the head, no flag. Ticky-tack maybe, but I think some other QBs get that flag.

These refs were terrible tonight.................seriously, we must have been assigned the D crew by the league office.

The Jets even got screwed a couple of times as well....................just bad officiating all around.

Until Jones had a freakish Combine he was a second round pick at most. I saw two or three plays tonight where it appeared that he didn't do his job. The first the touchdown pass to Decker. I think he wanted to pass Decker off to Bradon Carr, but there is no way you can expect Carr to do that when it was obviously man to man defense. The second the killer play when he got caught peaking in the backfield. I think he will make a pretty good safety, but he doesn't appear to have the instincts to play corner. Hope they leave him at safety full time.

...agree....he does have promise though. Got to go with the defensive scheme....every corner was giving cushion all game.

There was a perfect crap storm this offseason.

No real plan at RB killed us. Not necessarily losing Murray, but not making replacing him a priority. Maybe if we hadn't had delusions with Randle and started McFadden? Who knows?

Then our attitude at training camp killed us. If a player had a hangnail they would sit for extended times. This simply led to a lack of toughness and fight. We quit in the fourth quarter numerous times. I partially attribute that to the TC atmosphere.

The biggest issue was the Dez fiasco. He misses all offseason activities, misses all opportunity to build on his chemistry with Romo, and is quickly injured in camp. I have rarely seen a contract dispute end with the player having a great season (Emmitt Smith is one exception). He is not ready to start the year, and his lack of chemistry with Romo is apparent early. He is quickly injured. Now, it's a stretch to say his bone broke due to missing the offseason, but bad things tend to pile up.

Dez fiasco?....he got hurt on a play trying to extend for additional yardage....don't get the lack of chemistry talk. It wasn't a problem when Romo was being sat on Wednesdays the previous year. C'mon Dez is the least of this team's problems.

They need to hurry and decide what they want Byron Jones to be. They are going to slow down his development by moving him all over the place because he can't focus.

Getting rid of Morris would be a start....his inability to stay on the field causes more issues than he is worth.

Every player talks highly of their coach, when he's their coach.

Garrett doesn't offer anything, which is probably why he organizes useless field trips and hangs out with his players like Romo, who save his job.

I've heard Broaddus mention Linehan wanted to start Moore before getting Cassel but JG refused. Take that for what it's worth.

So Jerry blames the back-up QB position as the reason they are not in it. JG refuses Moore. Moore comes in and looks light years ahead of the two scrubs in running the offense..

So Jason blew the play-offs for the Cowboys essentially. How can Jerry swallow Garrett after this?

The fact that Moore has been under Linehan for three years and he's pretty much here because of Linehan, again tell me what JG is good for?

The Cowboys defense didn't look very talented vs. the Falcons and Saints. IMO, those games were the season's turning points. And those losses had nothing to do with Weeden, he put the Cowboys in a position to win both games.

People say to get rid of Hardy, because he's not worth the trouble... That's funny..
