So it's not the actual constant in the organization, it's a series of fall guys and only you have figured it out.

Well, hey...maybe you'll get your wish and Garrett will get scapegoated but if that happens, you can put the pitchfork down but don't get rid of it. You'll need it again in a couple of years.

Fall guys, with the exception of the Garrett family... They haven't been scapegoated.. Everybody has been scapegoated for them.. That's the difference..

You had three Garrett brothers here, besides father Garrett..

And then Jason plays footsies with Jerry's daughter per some on this forum.. And him and Stephen are like best friends..

Your not helping your case..

I don't understand. What's your question? Are you questioning why Laundry is on the list or what I'm referring to. In '89 when Jerry first took over the first thing he did was fire Tom Laundry and hire Jimmy Johnson. The reason why I put Laundry on this list of things I've forgiven him for is how he handled the Tom Laundry firing. Jerry was fairly disrespectful and handled that situation as an amateur. Tom Laundry was the face, heart and soul of the franchise for decades and he was kicked aside by Jerry. If I remember correctly Jerry didn't even interview him or anything. He met Laundry and in that conversation he fired him and that was it. Doesn't seem like a big deal now but at the time it was huge. Jerry disrespected an icon, or The Icon, of the Dallas Cowboys on his first couple days on the job.

Sadly he is still disrespecting the Dallas Cowboys with "his way". Jerry doesn't deserve to wear the same Star that Laundry wore.

It's Landry not Laundry.

The disease has no cure so you better get the best doctors and treatment available to live through it.

But the disease is fatal. No coach in the history of the league would win under these circumstances. Not a one. They would all (best coaches/best doctors) need power and respect.

You're wasting your time blaming the head coach.

Well then one good season is the measuring mark of all coaches.

I said for years I was on the fence about Garrett so I'm not a huge fan. And I look at the overall work. A coach who is handed a dominant team and doesn't dominate is not the better coach than one who gets more from inferior talent. Garrett has gotten a lot from his talent IMO but no he's not gotten over the hump and I hold that against him.

Dude, you're a CEO? But you don't even know that Tom LANDRY was the coach of this team at one time? This is a joke right?

So is that Jerry's fault? He's letting JG buy the groceries according to just about every one.

I'm not even understanding your logic. You are talking about a very brief period of the 20 years.

Tell me you don't actually believe a regional scout and his albino son is responsible for this.

This is cute. You're trying to out think me.

Who said he was the savior? Show me that. I'm saying he's irrelevant because there are issues above him that make him irrelevant. So keep him, fire him...it means nothing if there aren't changes at the top.

And that is why no matter who the coach is, the Dallas Cowboys don't win anything any more. For 20 long years.

One thing you got right is the fact that he is irrelevant. It doesn't mean we can't try to get someone who is and can make a difference.

We lucked out and stumbled on to Romo. We can do the same with the next HC.

So you wantt JJ to stay put and do nothing so you can just keep on complaining about JJ?

Linehan in his Detroit offense before he came here had the Lions at the second best team in sacks allowed and Reggie Bush was averaging close to 10 YPC and had close to 50 receptions..

Look at the garbage and predictability he deals with in Jason's playbook..
