is there a andrew luck kind of QB in this draft?

The best "pro ready" QB in this draft is probably this guy

I will see your Goff and raise you a Hogan!

Hogan is not even one of the top 10 QB prospects by most reputable draft sites. I like your ambition, but he's not a realistic option imo. He likely goes undrafted so maybe a camp invite at best.

Hogan is literally not even one of the top 10 QB prospects by most reputable draft sites. I like your ambition, but it ain't happening.

It was my sarcastic response meaning that they will both end up the same

Basically, the QB pool is non-existent for the franchise variety :(

Why is Cam Newton able to celebrate after a TD but let's say Dez starts dancing like n idiot after a TD we see a hail storm of yellow flags?

Because you can't celebrate with teammates like Williams and Dez did. When have you ever seen Dez get flagged for celebrating by himself?

I said for years I was on the fence about Garrett so I'm not a huge fan. And I look at the overall work. A coach who is handed a dominant team and doesn't dominate is not the better coach than one who gets more from inferior talent. Garrett has gotten a lot from his talent IMO but no he's not gotten over the hump and I hold that against him.

In 5 full seasons, Garrett will have exactly 1 winning year.

Is just 1 winning season out of 5 seasons really the mark of a good head coach? Shouldn't a good head coach be able to get more out of his team than that?

And this is not a taking a shot at Garrett mods, this is just asking a legitimate question regarding a coach's record. At what point is the head coach responsible for the performance, or lack off, for the team he is in charge of? And is 1 winning season out of 5 really an indicator that the program is headed in the right direction? Cant an argument be made that almost any head coach could luck into 1 winning season out of 5? Even the door mat teams of the league usually luck into a winning season every 5 years or so, it is really nothing special at all.

Even if Garrett is not the reason for our losing, at what point does it become clear that he is not the reason for wins either. Garrett does not bring anything to the table that is unique or gives his team an edge. So I think it is a legitimate question to ask at what point is the head coach responsible for his team's continued lack of success, outside of one single good year.

Does that mean he can go on a 5-minute celebration?? It was over the top and should have been flagged.

It was over the top? He does it every game and has never been flagged so apparently he's allowed to do it. If you don't like it, tell the defense to stop him.

Name one team that would hire Jerry Jones as a GM if he was available?

Why have this pointless discussion? It will prove nothing, nor will it change anything. Jerry Jones is not available for hire for any other team, and he's not leaving this one until he's good and ready. it's like beating your head against the wall when you already have a headache. The only thing it will accomplish is to make the headache worse.

You know, I was just thinking -- Matt Cassel and the Cowboys should be able to beat the Commanders with Kirk Cousins.

Deadskins beat us with their 3rd string QB last year and Romo played most of the game.

It is simple folks
Jason Garrett is a lousy coach playing for a lousy GM .

Offensively, he had no back up QB strategy , long term vision , and we saw what type of QBs he has invested in . All busts .His offensive scheme is predictable .

Defensively, well , no take aways , no QB sacks , cannot cover on 3rd and forever .

Player Management: a mess. The players don't respect him, nor fear him. No Consequences for messing up or sideline outbursts.

How can we win with that man managing the 2nd most expensive franchise on earth ?
