I really think if Dallas would've played them again we would've beat them by at least 10 points. Seattle just couldn't score with us and we had the match ups on offense along with the O-line to handle their defense.

Plus Seattle doesn't have the type of offense to really Threatend Dallas like GreenBay did.

I think we would've beat them Dallas 27 Seattle 16

It was probably a 50/50 proposition at best.

It's really hard to beat a team as good as the Seahawks at their place twice in one season.

Anything possible however. We'll never know.

I wouldn't have it if we were in the game, but I don't think we would have won... we match up very well, but Seattle is a team that doesn't forget... and from the Richard Sherman was say in that article posted in a another thread, they have been watching us closely.

we should be playing them in what would of been an nfc championship game that would easily be the most watched football game in the history of the nfl.

not sure what the score would have been.

but we should be playing this game.

i hope the seahawks absolutely crush rodgers and McCarthy

I don't know about this. There offense as well as defense are playing better ball then they were back when we played them. It woulda been a tough matchup.

We would've won. Murray would have run all over them. Now the Seabags get to rock Rodgers hobbled world and then sent him packing.

Yea, I would say something like 31-21. Their offense is good but doesn't scare me (other than Lynch)

I think you underestimate Seattle.
First time there was an element of surprise. They were shocked at how good our OL was and our ability to run the ball on them.

2nd time around they won't take us as lightly and have tons more film to study. They also match up fairly well with us. They have good DBs to match up and can devote one of the S to stop the run.

I think Seattle would beat us in a close game. Overall they are a better team and certainly healthier.

I dont know if dallas would've won. If they played like they did in the 1st 2 playoff games they would've lost. But if they played better it would've been a good game.

Why wouldn't people feel comfortable against a team we already beat convincingly at home? The whole "even if we had beaten GB, there are better teams than us left in the playoffs" sentiment is a cowardly apologist cop out. Look at the post game or Sherman threads for evidence of this.

Seattle has some momentum, but nobody would arguably have had more mo than the Cowboys if we hadn't been violated by the league just 3 short days ago. That being said, the Seahawks, unencumbered by biased refs, or at least neutral refs, will get home to Rodgers and eliminate a team that shouldn't be in the championship game in the first place.

we played great in GB, outside of the end of the half and the Murray fumble

Rodgers hit some throws but he's Aaron Rodgers

People are saying that to emotionally insure themselves from what was the most excruciating loss in recent memory because it was ripped away by the refs. But it's just not true. Dallas could have competed against any one of these teams in the NFCCG or Super Bowl. I hate these missed opportunities.

Hopefully they use this as a motivational point going into next year and take it out on the league. Of course there are no guarantees.

I think they will though.

Played pretty good but made too many mistakes should have won by 10-14. Plus we played a hobbled rodgers.

I was surprised by the cop-outs myself, but I guess it's just a defense mechanism, as you suggest, kind of funny given the tough talk by some of them previously.

We've been on a late season run since the Bears game, which I was lucky enough to attend, and there was no reason for it to end last week, or this week or in 2 weeks IMO, they are good enough to beat any team remaining and have beaten 2/3 already. I think that there will be carry over to '15.

Yep I agree. Don't get me wrong, this was a heck of a season, but the manner in which it ended just feels... incomplete.

Don't think we would have won. Both teams have changed a lot since then, and while this is a very good football team, I think our propensity for turning the ball over would have killed us in this game. Seattle let us get away with it the first time around, I don't think they would have this time.
