IMO, I felt that Green Bay was the obstacle in the playoffs and if we beat them, then we would have laid another butt-whoopin on Seattle on the way to the Super Bowl [/removes homer hat].

yea right like we played a lot of tough QB'S and yet there are 3 loses in those teams - to funny

Luck, Brees, Wilson, Stafford, some might say Eli (twice), and we beat all of them.

Yeah I mean we did face Luck, Stafford, Sanchez X2, Cutler, Eli during that same time span. Those starters don't hold a candle to Shaun Hill, Drew Stanton and Ryan Lindlay's of the world. I mean outside of Sanchez who's still better than any of those qbs we faced qbs that have at least accomplished something or are legit starters in this league. Give me a break.

You are right I disagree with 34.

But... If we were to make a ton of mistakes.... THIS TIME... Maybe they cash them in.
Maybe that's what they meant.

The Seahawks get to 34 if they score off of turnovers and special teams. That offense isn't capable of scoring 34 on offense alone.

How are the Seahawks getting 34 points.

Four touchdowns and two field goals.

But in all seriousness, Philadelphia limited Dallas to 10 points in the first meeting. In the rematch, Dallas scored 38.

If Seattle scored 23 points the first time, then scoring 34 points the second time is totally plausible.

My point is they aren't getting 34 points on offense alone. They scored 34+ points three times this season. They will need and probably get points off of turnovers/special teams. Their offense isn't good enough to drop 34 on most teams.

I really think if Dallas would've played them again we would've beat them by at least 10 points. Seattle just couldn't score with us and we had the match ups on offense along with the O-line to handle their defense.

Plus Seattle doesn't have the type of offense to really Threatend Dallas like GreenBay did.

I think we would've beat them Dallas 27 Seattle 16

I think it would have been Seattle 27-Dallas 20

their defense just kicked it up a notch at the end of the season and was a different defense than earlier in the year. specially with bobby wagner. their offense started to find its identity and pound the ball again, and thus ended up #1 rushing team in the league. its tough to beat a good team, twice, on the road in the same season.

Seattle is playing much better now than they were then. DeMarco Murray since December does not look like the Murray they faced earlier this year. Ithink we would have had to had an excellent day on defense like Carolina did and withstand the onslaught in the first quarter. If we are within three ponts midway through the second quarter I think we would have had an excellent chance to pull it out. I would have been worried about how the crowd noise and their defense flying around would have rattled us just as they will probably do to Green Bay.

I'm guessing Seattle 24 Dallas 17

it annoyed me so much the playoff position they got, even though we had the same record and beat them, and everyone fawning all over them for beating Ryan Lindley and Shaun Hill down the stretch

I wanted to get another chance to shut them up so badly, but we had to run a gauntlet to get there and just came up short. Meanwhile they beat a sub-.500 team and everyone is still acting like they're the greatest team ever

I'm annoyed that you have a three way tie, and it goes to conference record! It should always be head to head when there is a tiebreaker. Along, with the Dez catch, they need to revisit that rule as well in the offseason IMO.

Honestly I didn't wanna play the seahawks. How we beat them during the season made me think they'd be way more fired up than us. They'd want revenge and they would be trying to take out tony.

After what I saw of our defense in the Packers game ...

Seahawks 27
Cowboys 21
