There's no reason to play so conservative. When you have momentum, you need to take advantage. We totally laid down and pooped the bed after the blocked FG. Garrett's MO. Without Romo, that type of play doesn't work. Unfortunately for us, Garrett's inability to adjust is also one of his calling cards. So we can expect some more aggressive decisions around, oh, game 14

The offense failed when it needed to respond but to call this a bad team is mystifying to me. Even the media recognizes it. If you want to criticize the FO and coaches for screwing up with Weeden I'm with you.

Who cares what the media says 5 straight losses = bad team.

Where is the drag route to Dez that was a big play for us the last two years? I mean all we do is have these guys run go routes or hitch routes in the sidelines...

our stupid scheme rarely lets outside wr's run routes like that. I notice it watching our games. That why DB's are stuck to our wr's.our outside wr's basically run go's, hitches and come backs 8 times out of 10 they run one of those 3 routes.

That McFadden fumble that got reversed. Wow. He CLEARLY ran at least 3 steps. Obviously, I'm glad it got reversed, but how the refs could decide he didn't make a "football move" is just laughable. The NFL is just as bad as the NBA.

No Romo will come back and they won't win enough to get to the playoffs but they will win enough to keep us from getting a top end draft slot.

that is exactly what might happen. we will draft a lineman who will no play enough to help this team win. when we really need a quarterback to groom for the the future so we will have a chance to compete.

Yeah I would say next week is the absolute must win. 2-6 is too big of a hole to climb out of. You'd have to go 6-2 in the final 8 games to maybe have a chance. It's doable but you don't want to have to do it.
