Because with our luck, it would probably be an INT that would be returned for a TD. Romo also wouldn't get enough time to throw a ball that deep.

Romo in turnovers

Throwing LOOOOOOOOONG there and having it intercepted equals a punt. We should have thrown deep and hoped for the best (penalty) - Eli is the BEST at it. What good is a 3 yard run.

the three phases of this team are never on the same page. that's why we can never blow anyone out. offense shows up....defense disappears and vice versa.

What I wouldn't do for a turnover here. Kind of thing the StEAlers have done for years.

Running the ball was the wisest play. Don't force turnovers or get your quarterback hurt.

And maybe more importantly force a timeout.
