My take so far as well. Without knowing the play calls and assignments, it appears the linebackers are late and letting backs slip out of the backfield.

Defense needs to prove whatever it is they need to prove.

Defense is still bad. I don't know why anyone buys into them. We still have a terrible defensive coordinator. We get zero pressure. Minimal playmaking ability either due to scheme or talent. Either way, this defense is a huge liability.
