Will they be able to close the drapes as well when the sun is beaming in??
Hopefully.

The heat is too dangerous. It is a legitimate argument. Not only for the players, but the fans watching. It gets stifling hot in the stadium with no breeze.
Woot! The rule never made sense anyway. Maybe the Cowboys will actually open the roof sometimes now. They barely ever open it.
I thought it took a long time to open or close?
From what I read, 15 mins max. Same with Reliant, er NRG stadium.
There are several teams who use the extreme weather and sometimes even dangerous freezing temps to their advantage? Why don't we do the same thing with the heat? I've never understold this. Frostbite or hypothermia are dangerous conditions that the league plays in. People prepare for it, they should have to prepare for the heat and humidity of the South. High schools and colleges do it, so please don't come with that to dangerous argument. It might even make for some good scenery at the stadium.
No team with an adjustable roof uses the weather to their "advantage." If you see a game with inclement weather, it's because they don't have a choice.

The roof should always be open. I don't care what weather conditions football is meant to be played outdoors, and I am sick of these closed stadiums now.
yeah, we cant have fans dropping dead in the stadium on those brutal 78 degree october games. idk why jerry just didnt build a dome
