I hate Cowterd, but

On today's show, he actually said he is rooting for the Boys.

He thinks everyone is buying false Cleveland hype, and he knows their D is awful and Anderson is still haunted by his bad play from the last month of the season (he threw some key pick against Cincy and only had 53% completion).

I feel like the Browns are this year's Cardinals. Lots of hype, some talented players on offense, a bad defense, people on their bandwagon, and an inevitable loss to the Boys.

I don't know . . . . but I think the Browns have some talented players on offense for sure.

In their division, they are better than nearly all the other teams, except maybe Pitts, IMO.

Well now that he hates them I'm even MORE sold on them being a good team this year. Cowherd is an idiot.

Heck, so Derek Anderson had a tough December; sounds like a certain Cowboy QB we all love. From some of the things I've read, it's not unusually for young QBs (that includes QBs no matter their age who new starters) to have that kind of problem. I wouldn't bank of Anderson not playing well; he's got a good OL , a real good WR & good TE; don't know anything about their running game and understand the defensive secondary is shakey. Given our proven inability last year to stop opposing QBs from completing passes against us, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it's a shoot out.

Anderson had three or four huge games that really padded his stats like against cinci last year, outside of those he wasn't that impressive.

Good recap. Although next time, for greatest accuracy, put in some self-absorbed musings and talk with alot of spit in your mouth.

You see, this is where we get caught up in our own hype, and go out watch our team lay an egg. Sure we are the more talented team, but the game is in their house, and Cleveland is not Arizona. No matter what Cowterd says, Cleveland will be prepared to play.

I've seen it too many times. We fans talk up our team, and really try to convince ourselves that we will walk in there, and walk right back out with a "W" draped over our shoulders, only to see that when the ball is kicked off at 4:15 p.m eastern, our team looks timid, flat, and not as prepared as we thought. While the other team looks much faster, confident, and playing as if it was their last game.

Every fan of ever team in every sport does that. Homerism doesn't exist just with us.

And I'm not talking about Dallas anyways. Maybe they will beat us, I'm certainly not a blind homer. But I'm talking about through the whole season I don't think Cleveland will be that good.

Anderson had a tough 2nd half of the season, not just final few games.

You mean like the last Philly and Skins game. Or the second half of the playoff loss to the Giants??? Hmmmm.

Maybe so. But Cleveland doesn't scare me in the slightest. That's not to say they can't win. But I think Dallas' opponent most Sunday's will be Dallas. If they play well, Cleveland has no shot. If they don't, they'll be in a dogfight.
