Hopefully there won't be more giants fans than boys fans for the game.

It was a preseason game, right? How loud could it be?

Honestly, the stadium was pretty loud at times. Definitely louder then Texas Stadium.

One thing they do need to work on is the sound level of the speakers, it was frequently deafening yesterday. Loud enough it was hard to hear what was being said over them honestly.

For most of the offseason all I heard was how much better the Steelers organization was over the Cowboys. And how the Cowboys are not America's Team. Basically Steelers were the model franchise and we were not.

Some in here will agree with Colin. And that's okay. But the way Colin said it (Yeah, I know. He's doing his job to get more listeners.) pissed me off and had me mouthing off to the radio.

I personally do admire the Steelers oganization. Any team that has had as much success and consistency as they have had and have been able to build so much of their team through the draft has my respect. I work with a couple of diehard Steelers fans, so while I respect the organization, I have to hate the team!:)

course having the officials in your back pocket and being the biggest steroid abusing organization in sports doesnt hurt either

The scoreboards need to have a noise meter pop up on the display in critical situation as an incentive to give the crowd something to shoot for. I don't know if they are using the scoreboard to overlay messages (like "Defense!", "Noise!", etc.) like at basketball games, but if not they are missing out on a golden opportunity.

I think that's a good idea, and with the Jerrytron they could really incite the crowd when necessary and APPROPRIATE.

I don't think Cowherd knew about the party passes. He was referencing the new baseball stadiums and between the more corporate crowd and prices pushing the real fan farther away from the field and half of the crowd walking around to check out the new stadium and food, it took half the season before the crowd was really all into it.

I think the glass and video board will help reflect some of the sound. It also helps if the roof and endwall is closed. The video board actually helps remove some of the volume(space) inside the stadium, which should help with the volume(sound) level as opposed to if it wasn't there.

I also think they really need to use the board as a home field advantage to tell the crowd what to do. There are no rules against that are there? It would be stupid to not use it to your advantage if you are allowed to. It's probably the only way that the Cowboys crowd will ever learn when to be quiet.. nevermind loud. Someone needs to get in Jerry's ear on this one or have the media follow up.

Brilliant! You should text it to the Michael Irvin Show, ESPN Radio, he's Jerruh's boy and meets with him at least once a week!

There were 75,720 people there Friday night and it got deafening loud a few times. I think if it was held on Saturday night, they would have sold more tickets IMO.

The Giants game is the real deal and there's gonna be 25,000 more fans yelling....

It's going to be crazy awesome!

GET YOUR TICKET AND REPRESENT!

Beating the Titans in a pre- season game is not a good barometer.

Lets wait and judge after we put a beat down on the gints, forskins and iggles.

That will be the test.;)

If were quite then, fans suck.:)

How did you ever come up with that idea? Oh, I know .... http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2898005&postcount=16 ;)

I had already e-mailed The Lunch Break, but the post that suggested getting it to Michael Irvin was a good idea.

Priced out the average joe? I'm in college and had no problem affording season tickets + PSL's. They freaking finance the PSL over a 30 year span for god sake.

Sorry. Your use of "also" following your first points made it sound like you were adding another point.

It's all good, though. Just hope that the people who count get the message and do something about it!:)

I can't stand the guy, he constantly takes shots at the Boyz. He's really hard to listen and he's so in love with himself, it's sickening. Dude takes shots at our team and owner all the time. He'll praise them, then take a backhanded shot at them. The jerk irks me!!!

who cares if he takes shots at the Cowboys?

you too sensitive in Mary Land.

I went to a Marlins game a couple of weeks ago when I was in Miami. A beer was $8 and a turkey sandwich was $12. About the same as JJ is asking?

Of all the things to serve at a football stadium. . . a turkey samwich.
What self respecting football fan goes to see his team and eat a turkey samwich? Someone on a diet?

Oh, a baseball game. Yeah a turkey samwhich makes sense then.

Cowherd through out predictions +/- 1 win today. I only remember what he thought about the NFCE. IMO the skins and eagles is a little too optimistic.

Eagles: 12-4
Giants: 11-5
Boys: 10-6
Skins: 8-8

haha looks like I killed this thread.

ANYWAY...

Cowherd this morning was defending JJ saying it was the leagues fault the board is where it is. They provided the spec and JJ did what they requested.
