Was listening to the radio earlier today, and Colin was trying to get King to say the Boys aren't the best football team in the league. Peter ran off a list of concerns, mainly about Romo, like he takes to many chances, tries to get out of the pocket too much and creates more problems, likes to take the high risk, etc.

But, he blew Colin out of the water when he said all of Tony's other intangibles makes up for any shortcomings. Peter said the Cowboys are the best team in the league at this point because they have an explosive offense and the defense is coming along.

Cowherd then started talking about TO. I though immediately he was going to start trashing him and expecting some sort of trouble because he only had 2 receptions. But, he and King both agreed that this game showed that TO is in it to win a ring. He might not have gotten his touches, but he contributed in other areas: 1) blocking for Felix all the way down the field. 2) chasing down the defender after an interception, from clear across the other side of the field.

Pretty good stuff.

Cowherd mentioned a few times today that he thinks the Cowboys are the best team. He had positive comments for Tony and TO today as well.

good to read these positive comments.

I could care less what comes out of that fat idiot's skunk head. The only reason he says the Cowboys are the best team in the league is because it would be plainly obvious he is a total hater if he didn't, which he actually is. Or worse, that he doesn't know what he's talking about, which he doesn't.

I mean, did you read his MMQB column? Instead of mentioning how impressive the Cowboys looked, he decided to spew some **** about that guy's new book and made a point to put the Cowboys of the 90's in the worst light possible.

The week before, he went on and on about how good the Eagles looked and barely touched on the Cowboys at all. I mean, at all. His bias towards the Cowboys is as obvious as his skunk hairdo is ugly.

Watch the int again and you will see TO gets blocked to the ground at about the 4 yard line. He gets up and runs across and down the field to make the tackle.

Yep... A couple of years ago when we had a much inferior team, he picked us to go to the Super Bowl. Now that we're far better, it's backhanded compliments.

It's burning his butt (and Cowherd's) that we haven't fallen into oblivion since Parcells left town.

Cowherd was saying yesterday that Greenbay was the better team except for the few mental breakdowns. I never during Sunday night's game thought GB was the better team.

that's the beauty of sports, and what parcells said was so true.

doesn't matter what anyone says, the field will tell you the truth

I stopped caring about coward's opinions about, oh, 5 minutes after the first time I heard him.
I'd love to be a fan - he is P NW guy like me - but he is just too much of a schmuck.

Last week, Cowherd was actually praising Romo and could not believe that he did not get drafted. He went on to say that with all of the scouts that teams had, he should have been drafted by some team because he just too good. He compared him to Brian Westbrook and Joe Flacco who went to similar schools (Division 1-A) and they were drafted. He was wondering how a guy who won the Walter Payton Award (Div 1-A best player) can be missed in the draft. Said he thinks Romo is the 3rd best qb in the league and when he starts winning Super Bowls, he will move up to probably the best. Just too good not to be.

Cowherd is a moron.
TO has been hustling for years.
These 2 boneheads are just noticing it because it happened on Sunday night football.
I don't want Cowherd on this bandwagon.
Kick him to the curb and give him a picture of Rowdy for his troubles.
They belong together.

Watch the replay again on the int. TO gets blocked to the ground, yet ends up making the tackle. BIG play by TO.

Now here's Peter King from 'The Herd' with Colin Cowherd today talking Cowboys...

Peter King on Cowboys

That was Colin Cowherd (an Eagles Fan) clearly trying to get King to hate on the Cowboys and it backfired, lol.

But what is King talking about when he says Romo takes too many sacks? The kid hadn't been sacked until the Green Bay game so cut him some slack Mr. King.
