Cowlishaw: Bill Callahan will be with the Dallas Cowboys next year, but don't expect him to be involved in play-calling

Question: Do you the Cowboys part ways with Callahan after the season? Got to make some changes!!!!

Tim Cowlishaw: I think they will just let him coach the line and stay away from the play-calling. He didn't exactly elevate this offense in 2013. Thanks to all for coming, enjoy the game, have a Happy and Safe New Year and will see you next week.

Question: Everyone is predicting a cowboy loss including you. Why even play the game this Sunday if we stand no chance, give me some positives notes pls!!

Tim Cowlishaw: Apparently you can't read, I never said they had no chance. I said they had about a 20 percent chance. DeMarco Murray could be a huge factor. Adrian Peterson ran on this team two weeks ago. Cowboys need Murray to do that ina big way to keep defense off the field, keep the pressure off Orton. Cowboys can win special teams battle. They usually do. That will help as well.

we need to redesign the whole offense to account for Romo not having much of a deep ball anymore and his declining accuracy. Dont think simply changing playcaller will come anywhere close to fixing this offense

I think Orton is the starter for the next year while they wait on Romo to recover and they draft a QB in the 3--4th Rd.looking at the future.

Dude, its a 2 or 3 month rehab.................Romo will be back for OTAs.................dont worry.

Sorry..

The first back surgery eliminated Romo until the 5th preseason game and that was just a supposed cyst.

OTAs?

Man, you must be a doctor..huh?

It wouldn't surprise me to not see him until mid-season sometime.

If Orton is effective at all.

especially if he gets reps as the starter in OTAs..

it could be quite controversy.. Huh ?

And if they draft a young QB who can play..

I'd be happy to sit Romo while we see what we have.

It's time we stop depending on Romo for everything offensively and grow.

Easy to say when then $100 million is not coming out of your pocket...........................Jerry said yesterday he is not drafting a QB in the early rounds as long as Romo is around.
