I bet we don't pick a single player from that bunch:rolleyes:

That's not nice. Probably true, but not nice.

Not saying there isn't a couple of guys on that list I wouldn't mind having.....There just doesn't seem to be a certain type of player the Cowobys have targeted lately on that list.

Cowboy drafts have been really finicky lately.

This isn't a bad mockup of what the Cowboys could do. I like Goff a lot, they have done a lot of work on Henry, and he fits the run offense well. I'm not a huge Kaufusi fan, but he would contribute at end. Garrett certainly profiles as a Cowboy boundary receiver size wise, and he certainly has the right last name. Ridgeway should be able to provide depth at both the 1T and 3T, Peterson and Hall provide the Cowboys with two special teams guys with the ability to play at CB, and Hall could project to S. Terrance Smith has core special teamer written all over him.

One thing - this is the small hands draft, as Goff, Henry and Garrett all have hands 9" or smaller.

3 of the first 4 picks on offense?

Wouldnt shock me considering who they brought in. Heavy on top 10 QB talents, heavy on late first/ early 2nd WR talent and heavy on late day 2, early day 3 HB talent.

If you told me I had to put some money on what positions I thought the Cowboys would be drafting I would put it on a QB in the top 10, a WR in the second and a HB at the top of the 4th. 3rd round I dont really have much of a clue

Thats pretty much what I think. I see us going QB, DE, WR and RB in some order with our 1st-4th Comp pick.

Wentz over Goff and Joseph over Henry in the 2nd. We tend to throw the other picks away anyway (joking; kinda). So that would make my draft. They should pick up BPA @ DL/RB/CB/LB; just stay away from the community college prospects. :D

I think the 2nd come down to value at WR or DE with Henry a wildcard

Someone like Dodd, Fuller, Coleman, Doctson, Thomas or Spence with a possibility of Henry or Joseph. Not all of those will be there, but I would guess the highest rated of that group that's available will be the pick.

I still think there is a slighy chance Treadwell could fall there

One of the best mocks I've seen actually and a very "Cowboy" like draft IMO.

I have an aversion to BYU linemen but didn't hate what I saw from Kaufusi. Shows up a lot more than Buckner, albeit vs lower level of competition. Doesn't have the natural strength. Lower ceiling but higher floor.
