Broaddus mentioned his nice effort last night and he certainly was better than any other guys we have playing there. He gets ragged on here a lot, and I saw several people saying he sucked last night, but that wasn't the case. Three tackles, a sack, several pressures and a tackle for a loss is a pretty decent night.

He's a good player. It's easy to rag on the contract because he is overpaid, but people take it to extremes, calling him a bum and what not. He's a good player that can play pretty well at end or tackle. Even at 3T he's about as good as Collins. They should use him and Collins at DT together more on passing downs. Crawford gives you options.

He's a quality utility player to be used across the line. Sure, his contract is a bit lofty for his production, but he's clearly a team leader, plays through injury, and plays wherever asked, to his own detriment without complaining. He did good to take advantage of John Wetzel, I still maintain his best position is at tackle.

Not many people know this but he was actually one of the best pass rushers in the nfl last season in regards to hurries.

He’s a solid player...a good player even when he isn’t nursing injurie which it seems like he’s been doing since his contract.

I remember thinking that his sack should have gone to D Lawrence.
I'd like to see that one again. I dont believe Lawrence got credit for anything on that one. I believe it was the play where Lawrence got dinged.

So let me get this straight. We have Crawford - who's one the best in the NFL w pressures and tank - who's leading the NFL in sacks.

Couple that with Milik Collins, Moore , and Irving - who everyone regards as a high energy disruptive player.

Wow. We should have one of the best dlines in the league.

But we don't.

Not buying it. This guy is just eating up reps that could be going to a true RDE in Taco or Tapper. I would much rather see what Tapper could do playing 40+ snaps in a game. I think he would show us a lot more than what Crawford has been able to show us in 5 years.

Tied for 2nd in the league in sacks and 1st in the league in yards lost due to sacks.

He is great against the run at DE. They should have tried him at RDE last week...

He was doing a good job with pressure himself on MNF. I could easily see him getting 7 or more sacks this year.

Name recognition we don't. We are a young defense. We are getting better, the pass rush is improving. DMoore will get settled in, DIrivng will only add more speed.

See what you have to understand is when some on this board dislikes a player then they can never make plays and are garbage. Guess their eyes need checking

In your opinion we don't. In the eyes of the league we do.

Some say Philly DL is better but i wouldn't trade theirs for Dallas DL with their 0 sacks on Eli
