I agree but he feels like he can show up to work so you might as well make him try to earn that paycheck.

He has had his moments this season where he made plays regardless of the injury...just not enough to warrant the fact that we gave him the same contract Philly gave to 29. Regardless, I think he will be a good player for us for seasons to come.

Certainly a rotator cuff injury is going to limit a player.

I had a similar injury. I did not need surgery, but I could not lift for the better part of six months. I can't imagine trying to play football against 300 lb + lineman. I noticed it in his tackling also, just lacked strength in one of the arms.

I am hopeful that combined with DLaw, a 2nd year Gregory, a new 1-tech, and possibly an extended Hardy this D-line can turn into something solid next year. We will need one more consistent play-making LB to pair with Lee next year.
