If TO would have made that catch for the 2pt conversion, good call or not, it would have been a tie game and we may have went into overtime. Who knows maybe we win it in overtime, maybe we do not.

We would probably not have the sense of urgency to get the onside kick and pull out a miracle win.

As someone stated earlier. As terrible as the offense played, maybe it was the best of both worlds for the Cowboys.

We went into a hostile stadium. Against a fan base that was still smarting so bad over those superbowl losses that they were throwing eggs at the bus. Against a team that came out fighting like they were having their players give 100% more than their talent base warranted.

Yet we still win the game.

What this does to the cowboys is let them get back as a team and stop eating the cheese. All week we heard that this would not be a trap game. Heck I didn't believe it would be.

But the cowboys came out and played like they were indeed looking past the bills.

We have reports of some members talking about setting the scoring record for an NFL team this season and only going into the 5th game of the season.

This was a big slap right to the face to get them focused again.

We got a game to get us focused again yet still manage to win the game that was a murphy's law game for 58-59 minutes.

Wow what a victory and I think the boys come out better because of the adversity they were dealt.

Good post.

Of course the yin to your yang....not trying to be dirty here....would be that we aren't as good as we thought.

Maybe Romo has more Delhomme in him than Favre. Maybe he'll be so gun-shy he won't be as effective.

TO has had two subpar games in a row. Will he blow up?

Will our team lose confidence in Romo?

I agree with you BP.....But there's a dark side to tonight's win.

True, true...There are silver linings galore in this game...But TO? :bang2:

The drops were back AND we started to see him lose his cool...Don't even want to think about the fallout had this been a loss

Thank the Lord the Patriots have to come to Texas Stadium. One thing we can hope for guys, they got the bad game they were due out of their system. I hope they stomp a mudhole in New England. I am already sick of hearing about them and the week is just starting......

It really didn't strike me that way, BP... to me, the only thing that happened tonight was Tony Romo had an incredible stinker... the Boys were clearly the superior team, and he d*mn near beat them all by himself...

Then he made the plays he had to at the end, and almost redeemed himself... I've long thought that Tony DOES have a streak of Brett Favre in him, and that means we're gonna have to suffer through the odd game where he makes turnovers because he's trying to hard to force plays...

As long as it only happens every once in a great while, I can live with that...

But to return to your opinion, I thought the rest of the team played awfully well, actually... had it not been for Romo coughing the ball up with such frequency, the Boys would have won comfortably, by 2-3 TDs easy...

This was indeed a "Murphy's Law" game, and the Boys survived it...

Wow what a victory and I think the boys come out better because of the adversity they were dealt.

You could be right-- if it doesn't cause Romo to go gettin' tentative on us... my big worry is that this game shook his confidence, but deep down, I think he has the mental makeup to shake it off...

I think any NFL player worth his salt would have been a bit upset the way things were going. I've Michael Irvin lose it time and time again, but I never questioned hhis commitment and I don't TO's either. I like that in a player, especially my playmaker.

Why does everyone have such a phobia regarding a player being upset when things aren't going well?

Romo stunk it up... we continually saw shots of T.O. encouraging him and telling him to keep his head up. Romo kept stinking it up, and T.O. got frustrated.

He didn't scream in Romo's face. He didn't cuss out Wade. What's the big deal?

Would you rather have players smiling and laughing while we're losing while and us, the fans, are frustrated and upset? THAT is what boils my blood usually. It's more comforting for me, if anything, to see players as frustrated as I am when we're not playing well. Lets me know that they care.
