Speaking of crowd noise, i am from NJ about a mile from NYC. I've grown up with a loud attitude/personality. I've always wanted to go to a Cowboys game in Texas since i was a child, but honestly when i think Texas i think heavy duty conservatism, i fear my craziness would not go unpunished if i arrived in Texas, and seeing these threads year after year about such fans on whatever message board, i can't help but think i am right in thinking i should not go there.

Is there a section where the rowdiest fans are?
Texans are friendly. Go out of their way to be nice. You'd want to move here.

Don't believe most of the crap that is always negative on here about the crowd noise.
Nor prevent that from letting you come to a game. You will enjoy the atmosphere.
Most of the whiners won't get off their couch to go to a game, but yet they sure want to be critical of something they have not experienced.

I am not in charge or crowd noise or the jaded and monied fans who crowd the stadium. Most fans probably feel they are still in church and act accordingly.

Like I said, do something about it. Attend a game and be loud, get the crowd around you loud.
Stop whining and go do something about it.
Put up a billboard and tell fans to be loud. Be proactive, and not whine.

Whine whine whine that's all, people want to do.

The fans should whine loudly while the other team is on offense. "You never take me anywhere", "are we there yet?", "your family hates me", "you only think about yourself, what about my needs?", "get your fat *** off the couch and mow the lawn", "it would be nice if you'd wait until after sex to snore".

I complain about it, but I've also been to 20+ games there. Sometimes the crowd is good, sometimes it's bad. I've been to a college game there, so it makes me jealous of what our home games COULD sound like.

To the NJ guy, Texans are super cool. We tailgate pretty well out here. You'll have fun, and meet a ton of cool people.

I trust you can do the job yourself. Bubbas only get loud when their dinner isn't on time.

I had this feeling that the stadium would be rocking with the start of the regular season, NFC opponent of the Giants.
Return of Tony Romo, Dez, Zekes' debut for real, the OL pounding the GMen into the turf.

But now with Dak at QB, will the crowd be more up and more noise, or will some be like, dang, no Tony, and not be as loud.

Yes I know this will get the normal responses of our home field and all that crap. Save it.
There is some new excitement going on here.
double edged sword, I'm sure based on pre season and the excitement of Dak play that the crowd will come out vocal but that crowd will turn on him just as quick if he gets over whelmed

Turning on a rookie QB in his first start because he is overwhelmed would be the dumbest fan move possible. It surely wouldn't help matters.

Only calling it like I see it. I have been a fan since 1965 and think by now I know what to expect from the crowd in general.
