I knew it was incomplete in live action. The replay just confirmed what I saw. Same thing should have happened on the Randel-El reception late in the game. Clearly hit the ground.

I agree with Aikman on that roughing the passer penalty. What is Ware supposed to do when Samuels is the one pushing him into the QB? What is any defender supposed to do? It is hard to control where you hit the QB when someone is pushing you into the QB. I guess when it happened live that it may have looked as if Ware whacked Campbell in the head, but it was hardly roughing the passer.

I thought the officiating was good. As good as can be expected for an NFL game. The only call that really bothered me was the one not called. That was when they slammed TO to the ground after the whistle and a good 5 yards behind the point where he caught it.

I have thought this for a while. Some changes need to be made with officiating. First, they need to be full time. Really that is the only thing that needs to be done because it can have a huge impact. These guys would have nothing else to worry about, but football.

Any other change would just be a luxury while making them full time is a necessity.

Second, they need to have another official line up in the offensive back field opposite the referee. Third they need to have an alternate on the sidelines in case there is an injury to an official on the field. And then because of the Browns-Ravens game field goals need to be reviewable. I was surprised to find out that they are not. Seems silly that they are not.

Your eyes must be better than mine.:laugh2: I thought it was an int at 1st and did not see the ball hit the ground until I saw the replay. I do agree with you on the non-call on TO. In replay you could see the ref had marked the spot and the whistled had blown yet they allowed the skin players to slam TO to the ground. As for the Brown game I only heard about it, from what I heard the coaches had already gone to mid-field to shake hands before the right call was made and your right that should be part of review. As John McClain said this morning in his opinion all calls should fall under review in the last 2 min of the game.

How many games is this now where the skins led at halftime only to lose, ultimately?...I think it's been their trend this season and Gibbs is getting a lot of criticism, even from the faithful who deemed him too pious for critiques...Could be his last season...Sounds like frustration more than anything...Although, let's face it, that was a game changing review...I was utterly speechless on the INT

All of the skins fans I've talked to at work today have agreed that it was incomplete. Gibbs needs to realize that if he complains about calls after every game that nobody is going to take him seriously.

hopefully we will beat them again and convince him to end his miserable return to the nfl.

Hopefully the playoff picture will be settled by then and we can rub some salt in these wounds by having our backups beat them in their house

Why or? How about both. :D

You can only have 1 game winning pass. Unless he throws it to Stanback who laterals to Austin for the last second win. :)
