Was the decision to cut Sensabaugh heartless? :laugh2:

Do you know how stupid Hatch sounds saying that? He acts like we cut Emmitt Smith. Sensabaugh has received a great opportunity for many years to make millions while playing mediocre ball. The guys has had it good. Heartless...lol this guy has some nerve. :laugh2:

For the record, I actually like Hatch and defended him when he made those leadership comments after last season. I just hate that he thinks Sensabaugh (a guy who has barely brought anything to the table for many years) getting cut is heartless.

Would you have felt better if he said, "It's a business"? When guys say that, they mean the exact same thing.

Am I the only one sick of this guy?
This is what happens when you keep a core together this long that has not won ANYTHING. Everyone gets sick of everyone. For the Wares and Wittens, it is ok..they are pro bowlers...but JAGS should not be kept around longer than 5 years if the team has not experienced succes with said JAG

Hatcher's heartless comment probably stems from Sensabaugh's family situation.

I also think what plays into Hatcher's tweet is that Sensy also played through a ton of injuries last year to take the field. I specifically know he fought through concussion issues and a lower leg injury. He suffered a concussion in the Giants game that was still giving him problems through the Lions game when he had to be pulled in the 2nd half with reoccuring symptoms (The Cowboys were shutting out Megatron in that game until Sensy left the game, and then Megatron exploded). He was noticably limping badly by the end of the season.

Yeah, plus in recent years he played with a broken arm at one point. I remember one blog post about how he had an incredibly high pain threshold, one of the very highest on the team.

Well in a sense (no pun intended) it is heartless. However if a cog is broken it is replaced. I doubt either side feels comfortable with the release esp Sensi. I wish him well. He should be able to get a job and releasing him now is not only good for the club but gives him a better shot at finding another team(s).
