Galloway deserves some of the blame for his poor performance here. Glenn also had Quincy throwing to him and he outperformed Joey. That being said, Galloway looks like he rediscovered his mid-90's form.

BRUCE THORNTON 9 TACKLES NO PICKS

I just skimmed through your post, but in Bruce's first game as a starter he got a pick against Peyton Manning.

Quincy elevated Santana Moss from the 30th percentile in catches and yards per catch and touchdowns to top 5. When Pennington returned to the starting lineup, Moss's numbers dropped back to the 30th percentile again. Galloway also had a 21 yard per catch average with Quincy in 2003. You don't understand anything.

We would have kept Galloway if we didn't have Glenn.

They are basically the same type of players but Glenn was alot cheaper to keep.

I disagree. Bill Parcells built an offense around blocking using at most one deep WR. With the trusted Terry Glenn onboard, Galloway became Parcells' decoy wide receiver.

Period.

Every offensive series and gameplan was geared around Galloway clearing out zones so Quincy could work underneath or find Glenn in single coverage. The writing was on the wall the minute Parcells arrived that Joey Galloway was history.

Look at that 2003 game in New England where Galloway injured his quad in practice. Glenn was all but shut out and the entire offense was shut down. The Cowboys played against tougher defenses than New England's that year, but in no other game did the Dallas offense look more inept.

In the playoffs they FINALLY decided to include Galloway in the gameplan with designed plays set up for him to get the ball-- and surprise he was Dallas' ONLY productive player the entire game.

This is the truth that no one in Dallas wants to hear, Galloway has 14 TD's in 14 games in Tampa Bay and is catching short, intermediate, and deep passes in both in the middle and on the sidelines-- and he's doing it with Brian Griese and Chris freaking Simms.
