They can still move up in the 2nd round, who knows if they even value Cyprien. Awful start to the draft

Picking up the best center in the draft and a third is an awful start? Not an amazing start, but I like the way they are thinking.

Be real, you would have liked anything they did today.

That is exactly what many were screaming for the entire off season.

Frederick would not have been there at 47, did you see all the OL go in the first a team would have picked Frederick early 2nd

I'm not saying Travis Frederick is a bad Player by no means, he'll probably be their Center for 10 years but they've got to follow the Value board better. You could have easily got this guy in the 2nd Round now you take a chance of losing a better player in the early 2nd Round. Let me ask you one question ? just how much better is Travis Frederick than Barrett Jones ?

We essentially got a smart, versatile interior linemen. Could be worse. But considering the alternatives, we could have done much better.

The well is gonna run dry VERY fast at safety. Cowboys knew it was a need and should have just gone ahead and taken care of it by taking Cyprien. Pretty soon they'll be out of luck and it will all be Pat Watkins/Michael Hamlin-type JAGs.

Considering Jones is starting on the PUP, I wouldn't consider him. And he would have definitely be gone by 47. I mean seriously people, is ANYONE watching this draft? Pugh was taken at 19!!!

I'd rather have JAGs at safety than a JAG at center.

We aren't going to get a safety. We will stick it out with Johnson, Church, Allen, and McCray most likely.

You can scheme or give help to a JAG center to hide his weaknesses. You can't really do that with a bad safety unless you have a dominant pass rush, which they don't have either.

If you have the chance to draft one of the top safeties in this draft AND take a Top-3 center in the 2nd round (maybe Frederick is there or maybe it's Barrett Jones or another center) then that is much better value for building a team. Especially since it's not like Frederick is considered the same level of prospect as a center like Pouncey.

yea, anyone who thinks it's a given that Frederick would be there at #47, either is lying to themselves or wasn't watching the draft.
