I think Dallas will have to harass him. As bad as Rex is at times he has had some big games and played very well at times. I'm not trying to make him into some top quality QB but if given time to sit in the pocket Rex can make plays, Rex has a decent WR in Berrian and in my opinion a very dangerous WR in Muhammad. While Muhammad has gotten off to a slow start this season he has been a pretty productive WR for the most part.

Did you not watch the Bears last season? They won games where Rex had a QB rating under 5.

They were 2-3 when Grossman had less than a 50 QB rating last season. The two wins were against Arizona and Minnesota.

This team, particularly this offense, ain't no Cardinal or Viking.

How many times have we seen whenever a ST (of any team) get a return TD and re-energized a losing team or closely contested team? Many times over, at least that is what I've seen. I don't what their ST to make the difference nor re-engergize a down and out team.

I agree. Jimmy Johnson once said there are 3 phases in football. Offense, defense and special teams and if a teams can win the battle in 2 of those phases they will likely win the game.

The ST can re-energize a team, but then the team has to go on and perform. ST won't win the game. The offense and defense have to win the game.

If a team is counting on points coming from the ST, they're in serious trouble.

Their special teams will not outscore this offense. This is just silly.

If you can get returns that either score or put the offense in a postion to get FG out of a even poor drive you are still putting up points with little help from the offense add to that a defense that can create problems and turnovers and yes even teams with poor offenses but have great special teams and defense can win.

I find it amazing that Rex only had a QB rating less then 50 five times last year. Wow.


And it's not just their special teams we have to worry about, it's their defense. Since you like looking up stats, how many defensive TDs did they have last year? Didn't they beat the Cards w/o scoring an offensive TD?
