Dak in perspective

Dak is 5-0 versus those "better" QB's and has played well enough to keep another one on our bench.

And Eli Manning is 2-0 against Dak.

So, who has had the better year this year? You better respond back with Eli. Be consistent.

I swear, the logic that comes out of the Dak slobberers is appalling.

Wrong. That's just what you tell yourselves they believe.

It's 100% correct, you're just in denial. Even despite all our success and how well we've played most of the Dak vs Romo polls has been pretty spilt. I'm sure there's some out there that would have no issue benching Dak for the playoffs and starting Romo.

If the Cowboys win the SB in between all the joy and celebrating that will be going on, there's going to be many heated debates with those who will argue we could have also won the SB with Romo. The board might get so bogged down with threads debating the topic they may have to merge the threads.

And? It's not possible to have the opinion that Romo gives the team a better chance at winning? Anyone who disagrees with you is just in denial?

Percy, can you talk more about the elite defenses we've faced?

How did he do? I know the Giants and Vikings were tough games. I remember Cincinnati, GB, TB, and others praised defensively before we met them.

Edit: Oh wait, I see that pass defense stat. That was basically the two games against Vikings and NY, right? I hope he, the receivers, and Linehan improve how they face those types of defenses in the postseason.

For those who have the opinion Romo gives the team a better chance of winning what are they basing their opinion on? What has Romo done over his career that would make anyone think he gives the team a better chance of winning than Dak has this season? We've set some records with Dak and have accomplished some things that we never accomplished with any QB including two that have 5 SB wins between them.

This has been argued to no end. You know the answer to your questions, you just disagree. That is no surprise from a Romo hater such as yourself.

Everyone who isn't in denial and isn't a Romo homer knows the answers. If Romo gave the team a better chance of winning no press conference would have been held with him relinquishing his starting job saying this is Dak's team. The Cowboys have the best team they've had since they won their last championship in 1995 and it's mainly because they have the best QB the franchise has had since Troy Aikman. Dak doesn't have the turnover/decision making issues that Romo has which is a big reason this team has been so good with him at QB. His leadership and poise has been remarkable.

Dak is actually 6-2 against that list of better and equal QB's. He's third in QB rating well above Eli. He also has a much better overall record than Eli.

The Dak haters wouldn't know logic if it smacked them upside the head.

How am I a Dak hater? I like Dak. I am excited by what he has done this year. I am excited we found our new QB.

I look forward to his hopefully long and prosperous career.

LOL. Dak slobberers not even knowing what they are arguing.....

And I'm no Dak slobberer. For a good portion of the season, I would have been all for Romo taking his spot back when he was healthy. But Dak earned this job. The Cowboys coaches realize this. The players realize this. Almost everyone in the NFL realizes this. The only ones who don't realize this are bad sports talk radio hosts and certain diehards in the Cowboys fan base.

It's a good thing I usually take off for a few months after the SB. lol

Whether we win the SB, lose the SB or don't reach the SB there's going to be plenty of Romo vs Dak debates during the offseason. If we win the SB many of the Romo FANS will say we could have won it with Romo. If we lose the SB many of the Romo FANS will say we would have won it with Romo. If we don't reach the SB many of the Romo FANS will say we would have had Romo been the QB. Regardless what happens it's going to be an interesting offseason on this board. lol
