I am sick of hearing about Zeke.

They ran the ball well again today, however Dak has clearly lost a lot of confidence and isn't playing well. The coaches haven't done anything to help him out either.

So you hate hearing about our best player? That he’s masked a lot of the issues on this team? That it’s painfully obvious that this QB just isn’t that good without him?

Totally. Completely. Agree.

Washington will be there when we draft, and he's a deep threat we desperately need. Too bad that we also need to draft Lee's replacement, too.

After we draft Washington and keep being the 25th ranked passing offense and losing blowouts -

" the defense needs to step up"

Book it.

I am not buying that Zeke coming back is going to magically fix all the issues we have been seeing with Dak this season. He is not reading the field well or making plays inside the pocket and hasn't been most of the season. He is checking to bad plays, more often than good ones as well.

Still believe in Dakota and him being exposed like this will be better in the long run for us. We are now getting a good idea of what he isn't capable off and that's pretty useful information going forward.

The only good thing about the last 3 games is seeing who understands football and who is just an emotional pod without a clue.

This goes back to that year we had McFadden and he had 1k yards. There's a big difference between Zeke's 1k yards and Alfred Morris/or McFadden's 1k yards. A HUGE difference.

You might want to review the back end of the 2010 season for some truly epic suckage from Romo.

I’ve stated NUMEROUS times Dak sucked today and needs to be much better. However, in three decades of watching football, including Romo’s turbulent career, I’ve learned that there will be ups and downs particularly for QBs. I’ve also learned that fans are incredibly fickle and have a serious case of “the grass is greener” syndrome. I’ve learned that things don’t happen in a vacuum and you need a suitable sample size.

You can continue your knee-jerk, emotional and irrational opinions as you see fit. I’ve also learned to accept those types of fans.
Romo got hurt early in 2010 season.
2012 maybe?

He did have that terrible game at Washington at the end of that year.
That was the worst team Dallas has had since those teams in the very early 2000s.
And in that game, no Dez, no witten, no murray, 32nd ranked defense, terrible oline. Even Harris got hurt late. He was literally alone out there. But yes...3 picks and only a couple of TDs...so very bad for him.

That team was WAY worse. Even then...never, ever three games in a row like this.
Nothing close.
In fact, the game before that he threw fir 400 yards, 4 TDs, and 0 picks.
Even never put together several bad games in a row...maybe not wven two.
He rebounded from that bad game and so will Dak eventually rebound from this worst 3 game run by a Cowboy QB in about 20 years.

In any case...never just one or two guys.
Team game

I get that, but they are sitting in 2nd and 5 most of the first half and still can't keep the chains moving or making any big plays at all.

So "understanding football" means that you need to depend on your best players being available?

That goes against the nature of the game.

Injuries happen. A lot.

I would love to hear your explanation about that.

I agree.....Zeke was turning a bad run into 2nd and 5 or 2nd and 4. That is our peak now. We need those 10 yard gains on 1st down or those 8 yard gains on 1st down. Its not happening anymore.

No Dak just sucks, just deal with it, he is not a good QB
The first 25 games of his career he has one of the highest QB ratings of all time. The last 3 games he struggles partly because of injuries and partly because of coaching(Dak had no chance against Atlanta, no QB would have with a DE sprinting around and over our LT all game) The coaching sucks on this team not Dak!

Dak has regressed for whatever reason. I think it has to do with him trying to do too much. Trying to make up for the poor play calling and poorly ran routes by the WRs and even the blocking is not what it should be. It all puts added pressure on Dak to do more with less.

Another setback is the way penalties are called at in opportunities times and unevenly, especially with the holding calls. I don't think it is just my imagination that this is really happening. I don't know what can be done about it but a team can't win with that going on. Maybe Jerry needs to call for a truce with Goodell somehow.

Win in 2014 lose in 2015, Win in 2016 lose in 2017; That balances out to a .500 level coaching staff 8-8.
So this would be a foolish time to fire Garrett. Next year is OUR YEAR! Fire him before the 2019 season. ;)

Running the ball for positive yardage is one thing. Having the other team respect or fear the run from Morris is quight another. No one is reacting to playaction or walking safeties down because Morris is finding holes for 5 yard runs.

You should be able to turn 2nd and 5 or 2nd and 4 into something. The team has failed miserably at that for 3 weeks. Why?
