He held his own last year
It's a lot easier to look good with a guy like Zeke. It opens up so much. You don't need to do as much also and you can have your weaknesses hidden. It's all for everyone to see now. We were 5-3 with Zeke. 0-3 since.

Non Dak homer fans knew it even then..they knew it was Zeke and the Oline. We called it but fans like you refused to acknowledge the truth. He's a bus driver who can make plays on the run and thats about it.
He made plenty of plays in the pocket last season

And how do you know witten wasn’t the 3rd, 4th, or 5th read? Easy to see the whole field from your chair with a beer in your hand. I’m not saying Dak shouldn’t have missed it, but he’s nervous in the pocket and is struggling to make the best read under duress.

Woah! Calm down buddy.. I just said that because people say that this system doesn't get receivers open and I gave one example during todays game where a receiver was WIDE OPEN in the end zone waving like crazy. Of course I know blaming systems is easier.

Dude he was playing at a ridiculously high level last season. He hasn't come close to that this year WITH ZEKE

As I was watching the game and noticed Dak in about 4 or 5 different commercials, I realized that one of the reasons his play has regressed this season is that he has had numerous distractions. Remember last season when he refused to do any endorsements because it would distract him from being the QB? I guess he decided that he couldn't pass up the money anymore. And his play has suffered immeasurably.

From the first game of the season, he has been off, inaccurate, missing open receivers again and again. The guy is just not as focused as he was last year. I just wish he would postpone some of these endorsements since his play has been terrible. Win a few more games and then do a few commercials. Sheesh!!

It was interesting to hear Tony Romo comment on the back shoulder fade to Dez. He said Dak should be doing that all game. Well, how the hell is Dak going to develop any chemistry with Dez when he's doing his 5th different Doritos commercial!!

Actually, his stats for the first month or two were great, as good or better than Wentz. Only now, minus Zeke, is he struggling. So it's not the off-season commercials.

What this actually shows is they should've started Romo in the playoffs last year.

Zeke covered up a lot of deficiencies on offense. Dak is not a bad QB, he's just young, needs better coaching, and needs to learn how to make the right throws.

Watching Rivers put on the clinic today made me realize that.
I'm not sure Dak's good enough to ever be a star QB or lead a team. We may need to upgrade at QB at some point to really get to a next level even if we got Zeke. If we had Zeke these last 3 games we are probably in all of em and probably win at least one. But we just run out of gas all 3 games because offense can't make plays.

Romo turned 3-4 win teams to 8 win teams. We got more talent now and had Zeke for 5 wins. W/O Zeke we may be lucky enough to win 1 game.
How do we have 'more talent' now?

Romo has had just as much talent during his tenure. Let's not act like he didn't have prime Dez, prime Witten, Martellus Bennett, Demarco Murray, Felix Jones who averaged 9 yards a carry his first year in, Terrell Owens, Miles Austin, Anthony Fasano, Marion Barber. He's also played with Beasley, Terrance Williams and was playing with this very same O line when he got injured in preseason.

I think Dak has a lot of responsibility in all this, however, I can't help but think that the Cowboy's WRs & TEs have really dropped off the map this year -- Witten is clearly is playing on nothing but reputation at this point, Dez is a shell of his former self, and the rest of the WRs are just guys.

There is literally no explosiveness in the receiving corp.

Witten was WIDE OPEN in the end one in of Dak's interceptions but of course, it's the system....

Even if Dak threw the TD there, does this defense stop the Chargers and get us the ball back down 22-12 or 22-14 depending on the two point try?

Not defending Daks' play (he's been horrific), but his picks today came with the game already lost, in my opinion.

8 Turnovers for Dak in 3 weeks. This team has a ton of concerns on both sides of the ball right now & sadly Dak has become one of the bigger ones.

Sorry, didn’t mean to come off as attacking. I understand what you’re saying. However, 9/10 times these receivers are getting straight up locked down. It’s jsut baffling to me the Chargers are doing this to them.

We score more than 6 today with Romo at QB.

Romo drawing up plays in the dirt is good for a pair of TDs at a minimum.

Only year I would say Romo legit had more talent was 2007.
